I played Shock Troopers for the first time last night, thanks to Hamster bringing all these Neo Geo games to the Switch. Even though I own a Neo Geo console, getting access to this game is still only realistic through emulation. The music totally surprised me; it very strongly reminds me of King of Fighters crossbred with Karous. The melodic wickedness is just something unusual here.
