Has anyone ever made a straight-up guitar/bass/keyboards/drums cover version of the F-Zero soundtrack? Tony Thai's X Style Arrangements is pretty good for filling in that gap, but I'd still like to hear a faithful rendition that just tries to upgrade the sound of the original with live instruments (or at least guitar since the rest can be convincingly synthesized).

Some of the songs on this release are pretty close to the originals: http://vgmdb.net/album/4905
