Corrected the Chinese name based on game's credit, not sure where does the English come from tho. (*Edit: it's from the staff roll of Shen Mou Zhi Zun Zhuan)
An interview in 2003 mentioned the music of "You Cheng Huan Jian Lu" took its inspiration from new age music, more specifically from Himegami's "Setsufu". The game and its soundtrack is still one of my favourite of all time, and undoubtedly one of the Chinese classics. The franchise is getting a new mobile game (from the developer of Langrisser Mobile, who kind revived the series) and a spiritual sequel from original producer. I do hope to listen to more of Chen's work in future. My favourite boss theme: Guan-Ming Chen - 神威 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cV8nL1Yc6Ro --- Edit: The name "陳冠銘" is probably from a typo in the first game "Shen Mou Zhi Zun Zhuan". Staff roll of the first game "Shen Mou Zhi Zun Zhuan". Third game "Huan Shen Jie" Last edited by doppel9014; Oct 26, 2020 at 08:57 AM. |
