They're legitimately the worst thing to happen to anime in ages.

That's bit of a silly hot take. It's good that Netflix is licensing anime, even if they wait for the cour to finish to show the episodes. And why Netflix want to change the soundtrack, unless there was some odd licensing issue with Kawai's score?

I never searched why US dbz had another soundtrack than JP's when FR's has the JP's

Kawai score elevated the show. It was perfect fit for series.
I would be also interested to know what are reasons for change of score...maybe too litle use of popular BWAAAAAAAAHH / BRAAAMM (https://youtu.be/WniOZT7FlKM) sound

If not for them, there wouldn't be an Ajin-Adaption. That alone was a good choice in my op.

Production studios being cheap... thats what I'd surmise at least.
Sometimes, getting another composer to create some stuff is cheaper than "buying the rights" to what ever else.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it were Niantic, rather than Netflix, that made the decision to “globalize” the soundtrack.
