Amazon has a page for it, but at the time of this post it states "Currently unavailable".

Thanks for the link! Finally snagged a copy on the 2nd hand market. This was probably the hardest VG soundtrack/set to find for me actively looking for it even though it came out this year. The print run must have been SUPER tiny.

yes it was gone in days
now 30,000+ yen from those who bought 2 copies or more... you never know it might get a 1/1 reprint though, like the goemon set did, as people complained they didn't manage to buy one in time or something like that |

If you've had a chance to listen, how are the tunes? I think a lot of people aren't very familiar with these games, so a soundtrack box like this was a hard sell when it was first announced. I think part of its desirability now is simply because it is scarce. But I'd love to hear your thoughts on the actual quality of the music and if you enjoy it.

Sure thing! It will take awhile, but after I go through it I'll post my thoughts
The games in the set I played the most were either Terra titles or Magmax. I imagine most people bought this for the Terra series of shooters. Magmax is a nostalgia trip for me as I had it on the NES very early on and some of the tunes live rent free in my brain [even though they may not be considered good, they were bizarre and that's what fascinated me as a kid. I considered entering the raffle to buy this album and listened to the sampler on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AO39mlY0ufI).
I wasn't impressed by the sampler, but it's only 13 minutes long, so I'm also curious what you think of the music, VGMFan20XX. |

Finally got this. Will upload scans when I'm done. If anyone has the time to add a tracklist, please do so, otherwise I'll do it after the scans myself. Here's images of all the tracklists. https://imgur.com/a/bMdeGYV
Edit: Apparently the box came with Hi-Res downloads of all tracks. So here's the tracklist copied straight from the files. It needs some cleaning up, but it's a lot quicker than typing out everything by hand. https://pastebin.com/1B6As9KK Last edited by BoneSatyr; Feb 7, 2023 at 10:09 AM. |

The guy who did the X68000 arrangement seems to have the same name as someone called Masatoshi Hashimoto that worked on NAMCO SOUND MUSEUM from X68000. Think it's the same person? Also shows up here:
