There are a handful of new compositions by Kenji Ito, for the new Fuse scenario(s). I imagine these songs will appear on this release, at which point they'd be exclusive to this release.

Interested to see if that is the case.

Dude, I know I have the OST already, but I got to nab this. Glad to see the Victoria theme from Lute's scenario has been added! It's in the original game but was not the original soundtrack.

Hmmm... wonder if the theme for Blue's region map is on here? That was also missing.

[Edit]

Also, yeah, I have to buy a switch for the game. It's my jam. I know it's not a great game but I want to play it now. Granted, I have the original, but the quality of life improvements look great on this.

Also, is Theme of Coon [Riki] not in the pregap anymore since this is a DVD?

Riki's Theme is a separate track now, yes.

So, I nabbed a Switch Lite so I could play the game again. I'm pretty pleased with what they've done with the game. I do miss a few pieces of dialog that were changed and the renaming of the arts attacks drives me bonkers. The only rename I like is renaming the fighting tech "Fist" as "Pressure Point" - which makes complete sense if you seen that technique. I get the names are probably more loyal translations now, but after 21 years I grown accustomed to the old ones.

Anyway, I thought I'd post here that there is a sound test in the game and the tracks are named. However, I don't think the names are exact translations of the names we have on file here. When it get a day off I'll post them in this thread here and compare them to what we have for the previous versions of the OST. It looks like the missing tracks are included, however, I'm guessing the new tracks for the 8th scenario are unlocked when you play it, I don't see them in the listing.

Answer to this is yes. The region map theme is "Dream Bubbles" - seems this name is shared between game and OST this time.

23 Leonard's Laboratory ---> Leonard's Laboratory
24 Theme of the Cygnus ---> Cygnus
25 Baccarat ---> Casino
26 Devin ---> Devin

03 Ancient Ship ---> Where is this?
04 Despair ---> Despair
05 HQ --->HQ
06 Booby Trap ---> Booby Trap
07 Hey, Fuse! ---> Fuse
08 Shudder ---> Ultimate Weapon
- very odd given 3-05's translated title
09 Owmi ---> Owmi
10 Shingrow ---> Shingrow Palace
11 Theme of a Kylin ---> Kylin's Paradise
12 Shuzer ---> Tartaros
- I believe this is used for Shuzer's base AND Tartaros dungeons, but it's been so long since I played T260G's campaign I can't confirm this plays in Tartaros
13 Danger! ---> Danger
14 Battle #4 ---> Battle #4
15 Back Streets of Koorong ---> Koorong Back Alley
16 Alone ---> Alone
17 Melody of Time ---> Time Palace
18 Orlouge's Oppression ---> Facinataru
19 Castle of Thorns ---> Chateau Aiguille

22 Battle #5 ---> Battle #5
23 A Melody ---> Wounded Heart
24 Resolution ---> Resolution

01 Mosperiburg ---> Virgil
02 Wakatu ---> Wakatu
03 BlackX Base ---> BlackX Base
- interesting note: "BlackX" is not said as "BlackX" but as "Black Cross"
04 Hell ---> The Abyss
05 The Ultimate Weapon ---> Program
- "Program" makes sense given what's occurring in the game at this point, but "Ultimate Weapon" makes sense as well.
06 At All Costs... ---> Yorkland Mountain
07 Asellus's Last Battle ---> Last Battle: Asellus
08 Blue's Last Battle ---> Last Battle: Blue
09 Riki's Last Battle ---> Last Battle: Riki
10 Red's Last Battle ---> Last Battle: Red
11 T260G's Last Battle ---> Last Battle: T260G
12 Lute's Last Battle ---> Last Battle: Lute
13 Emelia's Last Battle ---> Last Battle: Emilia
14 Lummox Beat (Riki's Ending) ---> Plastic Doll
- I'm assuming the "Riki's Ending" part is omitted here because this track plays elsewhere in Riki's scenario like a few others here. However, I have not played Riki's scenario in decades because it is my least favorite by far, so I can't confirm this. Also, this could be due to character space limitations in the sound menu.
15 Destiny (Blue's Ending) ---> Ending: Blue
- Funny thing about this track, I don't recall it being used in the game. Blue's "ending" is somewhat of a sham unless you consider the last dungeon and boss the ending. However, if you read the "Essence Of SaGa Fontier" book, you'll find out what really happened, and it's a lot more satisfying.
16 My Dear Country (Lute's Ending) ---> Yorkland
- Lute's Ending is actually the town theme used for Yorkland during the game, so it's not specific to Lute's ending.
17 R3X Rush! (Red's Ending) ---> Ending: Red
18 Flashing Before My Eyes (Asellus's Ending) ---> Ending: Asellus
19 Contentment (Emelia's Ending) ---> Savior
- Emilia's Ending is not specific to her ending; it plays in the last area prior to her last boss. And yes, "Savior" is an appropriate name if you've heard this track.
20 Childhood Memories (T260G's Ending) ---> Ending: T260G

Additional/ New Tracks

Riki (aka Theme Of Coon)
Tears of Joy (I don't remember this at all; maybe new scenario?)
Finale (I don't remember this from the original game, but seems to be used for accomplishments now like obtaining the gifts for various magics)
Mechanical World (don't ever remember hearing this one)
Pursuit (was in the original game, not on original OST)
Pursuit 2 (variation of the above track)
March (Theme for the Victoria; you can only hear the full version in Lute's game, the first segment can be heard in the other scenarios)
Dream Bubble (Theme for Blue's Region Map, Blue's game only, was left off original OST)

And as I said, I'm guessing the new tracks for the 8th scenario are left off or need to be unlocked as to not have spoilers.

Yeah, the Fuse tracks are added after you lock the new scenario.

- Added album info from inserts
- Added English tracklist from inserts
- Linked artists
- Added track times from BD source (not mp3)

Like most Revival Discs there is additional content on the BD that aren't part of the printed tracklist. They are after track 85 (chapter 86) and are a medley of previous themes with different videos. They are as follows, with their tracks noted in sub-track format (from me listening, not printed anywhere on the inserts or in the video):

Quote:
Bonus -Blue-
- Battle #3
- Magic Kingdom

Bonus -Coon-
- Battle #1

Bonus -T260G-
- The Ultimate Weapon

Bonus -Red-
- Alkaiser Attacks!
- Theme of the Cygnus

Bonus -Emilia-
- Emelia's Theme
- Koorong
- At All Costs
- Contentment (Emelia's Ending)

Bonus -Asellus-
- Orlouge's Oppression
- Dark Labyrinth
- Orlouge's Oppression
- Flashing Before My Eyes (Asellus's Ending)

Bonus -Lute-
- A Traditional Yorkland Air
- Hey, Fuse!
- Wakatu
- My Dear Country (Lute's Ending)
- Baccarat
- Finale
The only notable difference is they spelled it Emilia in the bonus track but Emelia everywhere else (and previously in official releases with English tracklists).

Okay, so I'm not crazy. I been like "wasn't Emelia spelled with an 'e' in the OG game?" for a while now. LOL.

77) Finale
78) Mechanical World

About these two tracks. I don't believe they were used in the original release, but they are present in the original game's data. The only new tracks are the last three.

Mechanical World is pretty boss tho. It was like finding hidden candy.
