Nice! 2CD + 1DVD for a preorder price of ~20USD is a really good deal

Thank you for your support and patience, please bear with us little longer!

Due to how the postal system works, we're withholding the shipment till we can send them all at once. A lot of them are already packed and ready to go though.
Oh joy. Like they were totally ignorant about their mail box and didn't take a look at it until the release day.

I don't care if it's delayed even more - I just hope the quality of the release is fine...

My evaluation copy indicates it'll be worth the wait. The Radical Dreamers and Shadow of the Colossus arrangements are just spectacular!

Ah seems im not the only one getting huge delay from them. What I wonder though is if I ordered the CD when it was listed as $20 and it now lists as $30 if they are going to charge me the higher price.

Haha - no.
When you concluded the purchasing contract it said 19.95 $. They can't charge you more afterwards. That's not how it works.

I'm not amused.

Hi people, are you emailing the right address?
The ANIF09 CDs were sent now 3 weeks ago and people should have already received their CDs by now.

If not, please send an email to [email protected] and I'll have it dealt with the boss.
Funny. Not even people living in Australia got them. Also, they do not answer if you mail them. Never. Oh, and this Hiro guy didn't show up on Eminence forums for some weeks now.

If I wasn't so excited about listening to this, I'd cancel my order in protest. This is just unacceptable.

*lol*

Hey guys, it's just a f*cking album - I really don't get it why people make such a fuss about it. Yeah, it was delayed - yes, Eminence miscalculated the demand for the album.
And so what? Things tend to go wrong, the world just isn't perfect.

I just don't get why people have such a problem with waiting - it's not like your lifes depend on this album, right?!?!
I waited 5 (FIVE) month for a manga order from Singapore and still gave the seller a good rating. And that was NO preorder.

I really think some people here should correct their attitude. You always have the risk of delays with preorders. If you don't want the risk, just don't preorder - just as simple as that...

Uh usually even a preorder import from Japan doesn't take more than a couple weeks to arrive. They should better contact consumers about delays and be clear about it rather than this.

Exactly. It's not about the waiting but rather about not telling their sellers anything.

Yep, you name it - usually.
But that isn't your usual preorder and it's not like Eminence is a mature publisher / supplier - how many albums did they publish themself? You can probably count them on one hand (or even less)... they just don't have that much experience in that area, so what are you asking for?!

Have you ever organized something on that scale yourself? Do you know how much logistics is involved? I don't think so...
It's easy to criticize something you don't know of. I'm also not happy about the delays but I don't keep ranting here about something I don't have a clue about (and which probably takes a lot more work than anyone here can imagine).

Have you read the thread at Eminence forums? It's obvious that they're not doing the shipping themself but outsourced this to another company. They probably can't tell you any exact date.

And even when, what do you gain from this? You know that the release is/was delayed and (now that's important) Eminence is the single source for that album.
You either choose to wait or to not to wait, cancel the order and waive the album.

I see the point in delay information when ordering any regular album from some online shop. Because there I can decide to wait e.g. a maximum of two weeks and cancel the order afterwards, then trying another shop that claims to have the album in stock.

I'm not that lucky here. I have a single source. If I want the album I wait. If I don't want to wait then I cancel the order.
You people just act like the album is going to become worse with each day you have to wait.... like that's going to be the case *rofl*

IMHO all this "ohhhhhhh please, give us release data" whining is utter crap. It serves no point other than satisfying some people's lust for (pointless!!) information.

Well lets see, I ordered the soundtrack of Valkyria Chronicles 2, which was one of the first soundtracks released on the Basiscape label and got it on or soon after release date. I also ordered quite a few things from other small labels who happened to have only a few releases under their belts and they are able to get me stuff fairly quickly.

You are correct in stating that I have no other option to buy the soundtracks from somewhere else and so I have to buy it from here if I want it. My point was, if I was the company who was releasing this, I would let my customers know as soon as possible with any updates. If a company says a release date is subject to change and it gets delayed then there is nothing I can do about it. This is why many companies don't even put a release date until everything is set.

Eminence Symphony Orchestra to all fans waiting on their ANIF09 CDs! Some people haven't received their CD/DVD yet but we're sorting them through one by one as our new system bugged out on us. I know it's been delayed for a while but we hope it will be all worth it!

We checked in with them this morning and we found a problem w/ duplicates and bugs in the order system. We've made a quick fix to the problem and will be sending 500+ orders late this week and early next week.
Guess, we can finally consider it done.

I wonder what we should consider the "real" release date for this...? :P

Is it just me or doesn't the "Princess Mononoke Symphonic Suite" contain the Mononoke theme at all?

This is totally at random on the DEATH NOTE suite, and very cliche, but... "Watashi wa...Kira desu."

FYI - was trying to hunt down a copy of this and noticed it's available on digital services (as already linked from here), but the digital copy is missing 2 tracks and obviously missing the DVD. Specifically, the Soulcalibur and Ace Combat tracks are not included in any of the digital versions I've found, including Tidal, Amazon, and Spotify.

Should the digital version be treated as a different release?
