Now we just need one for Mario RPG.

Butbut, reprint would DESTROY THE VALUE OF ORIGINAL:!

Anyways, good to see this damn good album being reprinted, especially when it's one of the rare good Shimomura albums. Now I just wonder why it ain't under Original Sound Version like it was originally, or was that name reserved only for Pony Canyon's stuff?

I hope this means all the NTT stuff is now easy for SQEX to reprint, since NTT didn't reprint all of them in 2004 (and even some of the 2004 reprints are now hard to find).

I can be totally wrong, but I think that Original Sound Version thing was just used at a certain epoch of vgm history, and now Original Soundtrack makes more modern (maybe)

Actually, I never noticed it before Razakin's comment (I always thought it was a time period thing as well), but every album released with "Sound Version" - all of which were in the 90s - was released by NTT, so it seems to be NTT's thing. Also, there's some random exception with a Panzer Dragoon CD, and then Soulcaster which looks like a retro indie game and so they're probably using the term "sound version" to be retro, but... yeah, looks like an NTT thing.

This album is not a reprint, in the end. It has the 2 bonus tracks that were originally featured in the strategy guide.

Tracklist here: http://www.square-enix.co.jp/music/s...tracklist.html

Oh man, those bonus tracks are super-rare. So awesome of them to stick it on the reprint. Good stuff! Gotta order this.

So Kimitaka Matsumae helped arrange those guide book tracks. That's interesting!

He's not credited on drammatica, so I'd guess he only contributed to the medley, although maybe he helped with the synthetic orch on Forgotten Wings.

thanks user "singy" for scanning or finding those packaging scans.

For completion's sake I added the generic reverse-side of the obi. It's smudgy, but it'll do.

On first listen to the album I am pretty underwhelmed. Track 21 and 27 stuck out.
