Ah thanks. I was always looking at the site without www and wondering if they are dying since they are obviously not updating anymore. >_>

There's also a radio interview in case anyone can understand that: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/1384157096

Hi,

I am pretty sure I have heard "Hedge Hog" elsewhere! Any clue?

nice samples. nothing new sounding, as it's the same stuff Motoi has done since the 80's, but I'm a sucker for those :P

I'm excited for it as the samples point to it being the work closest to a new Gikyokuonsou so far, which for me is still his primary style defining work after now 22 years. Variety seems fine to me already. Wonder though if that's really actually a band work for once or just Sakuraba playing everything himself again.

(youtube link of the samples, better for jumping around: http://youtu.be/WRmn8gPprmw )

Classic Sakuraba chord heavy melody progression which can be found (often partially eg. at looping points) in many tracks. Personally I automatically think of Mario Tennis...

I felt that on a few of the tracks, but as a whole it is still closer to "What's up" for me. In other words, another CD of unreleased battle themes Doesn't mean I won't enjoy it.

Yup, a slightly different version of it is included in GODSPCD-1 (Track 11: Echidna, name makes sense).

It's more obvious if you listen to the amazon samples instead of the nico ones.

Waiting for my copy to arrive next week! I'll upload the scans if no one does it before I get it.

I'm late (lol) but it was a re-work of his masterpiece "Paradigm" from Gikyokuonsou.

Noticed that two of the track names had trailing blank spaces/tabs (e.g. Dangerous fragment ). How about a once-off "remove trailing blank spaces from track names" sitewide vgmdb operation? And automatically remove them from all future track name submissions?
