This appears to be a reprint of http://vgmdb.net/album/2941. The tracklist seems to have slightly different titles, but the times are all the same (except for the 2 second extra gaps between all the tracks). From the scans, it would appear that this was probably given away at Media Play stores.

Thanks. I hooked them up with the Mediaplay one being the child album. I also removed Media Play from the publisher on the parent. We'll need to find out some more info about that album though.

Eveline Fischer had absolutely nothing to do with the score with the game except being the original sound designer according to Grant Kirkhope.

Plus from a fan letter he said that he 'composed all music for the game'

I don't know but it's in my email and I don't post things that like up, you'll just have to ask him yourself.

I wrote to him 'Which tracks did you not compose in Donkey Kong 64?'
He replied 'I composed ALL music in Donkey Kong 64, Eve did the sound design and was originally going to do the score.'

Hate to say it but the only option is to ask him yourself via fan letter, check out contact page on his website.

Besides in the credits here its saying she composed the forest level... thats not possible because that song was in the original banjo-kazooie beta which was done completely by grant kirkhope.

It all sounds like Kirkhope though Donkey Kong 64.

P.S He even mentions being the voice of Donkey Kong which is cool.

DK was voided by Kevin Bayliss.

I don't see any reason why not to post this alleged mail.

In this case, I have no problem with Guitarist500's edits, as they are backed up thoroughly with little speculatory component. It's well-known that Grant responds to fanmail regularly and is quite open to sharing information, so I'm willing to believe this correspondence. Besides, I've long wondered what Fischer's role on the game was, given it was clear Grant did most of it.

Not putting his posts in doubt, but now seeing as Grant is so amiable when it comes to mail, I don't see any reason to not posting it. Doesn't hurt to, IMO.

I've removed Fischer from the composition list in the parent album.

I think it would be fine to just post the sentence where Grant confirms this; you don't have to post the rest of the letter.

We'll have to see the senetence when Guitarist posts it. It sounds like the composer is saying 2 different things, but the wording is vague on that site.

Quote:
Eveline Fischer was originally doing this game as she did Donkey Kong 3 on the SNES.
"was originally doing" implies she no long is doing

Quote:
Quite close to the start of the game I was asked to help out.
Help out Fischer, or help out the development team?

So yeah, vague.

Reply received; I asked him regarding his involvement and he voicing DK.

I don't think it turned up anywhere else if I remember rightly.

I voiced DK in DK64. All his vocal sound effects were me. The rap was done

Hope this answers your questions but feel free to mail me anytime.

Cheers,
Grant.

There we go! It's official, Grant Kirkhope composed all music that's in the game.
