It's very apparant that not many people here really care about this release, since it is basically an elaborate fan made production instead of the original soundtrack.
If this was the original soundtrack, finally released after 6 years, I wouldn't be the first person commenting here! I'm sure some tracks will sound pretty good, and the sheer force of effort put into it is highly admirable! But... its still not the original soundtrack most of us would have preferred |

I care about this release, I reserved my physical copy over a year ago when this was just a Kickstarter project. In my opinion this is better than the original soundtrack, just going off of what I've heard so far in the preview tracks.

Fifty dollars! are you kidding me? isn't that a bit unreasonable? I mean, yeah, Twilight Princess has some seriously awesome music, but an official indie album that would have a price like that, I don't get it.
I'm saying this because I don't understand the collectors value in this album, where would it fit in? |

I haven't listened to the whole album yet, but considering the list of performers ... that it was a lot of work with a lot of people ... I think $45 for the 3 CD set is reasonable. A LITTLE high (I would've preferred $30~$35), but not awful. You also have to remember that a lot of that money will go direct to Nintendo since Joypad did officially license this thing like a boss.

I just got my download code for the digital copy. Should I put a new entry in for the digital version and fill it out with all the information?

I enjoy that somewhere in the world lives a person named Sea Flute.

50$ unreasonable for 3CDs? Compared to many Japanese releases that's a STEAL.
I also second the opinion that this sounds much better than the original soundtrack itself due to the limitations of low quality Samples and sequencing of the original. Last edited by BONKERS; Aug 23, 2013 at 03:30 PM. |

In lieu of this announcement, I guess $50 is cheap change for what is now a collector's item. Well, at least explains why the digital version wasn't available anywhere, until today I had the impression the project was down in development hell.

I recently bought a sealed copy of this album. When opening it, I found that the slipcase was VERY tight around the digipak, and a lot of force was needed to remove it. In the process, the digipak ended up getting damaged
After putting the slipcase around the digipak once more, I can't for the life of me get it back out again. Did anyone else have this issue, or is it just mine? |
