So, five composers listed for tracks 1 and 2. Do we know that they all worked on these 2 tracks, or do we just know they were involved in this game?

To the best of my knowledge, no tracks in Final Fight 2 were ever given specific credits. Therefore, all six must come with the package.

See this thread for general notes about what I'm trying to do with these albums: https://vgmdb.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6420.
Game-by-game composer information is given on this album. Names double-checked with this site: http://homepage1.nifty.com/c-akimo/m...ag_l/mag07.htm (dead link now, sorry). Suruga-ya has the release date as 1993-04-20: http://www.suruga-ya.jp/database/120032742001.html. I see what may be "4月20日" in the top-left corner of the magazine scan, but it's way too small to read so I'm probably just seeing what I want to see. 01~02: Final Fight 2 Listed composer: Alfh Lyra "Music: Bun Bun, Mari, Yuki, Setsuo, Yuko, Anie" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImU1YDo1Wu4&t=1m05s. 03~06: Breath of Fire Listed composer: Alfh Lyra "Music Composer: Bun-Bun, Mari, O-Jaring, Pii♪" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPfu_St60ts&t=6m50s. EDIT (2012-01-20): We got credits from Yasuaki Fujita! Nice!
Listed composers: YMOH.S, Hayato Matsuo, REZON This one has an OST with a breakdown. The track titles here are the Japanese sound test titles, which aren't present on the OST, so instead of using the OST's English titles for the English tracklist I've left the literal translations. EDIT (2021-03-25): The tracks here aren't original game audio, but are arranged (or are the original versions before downconverting to SNES). 11~13: Albert Odyssey Listed composer: Naoki Kodaka "Music: N. Kodaka" - http://www35.atwiki.jp/sfcall/pages/116.html. EDIT (2021-03-25): The tracks here aren't original game audio, but are arranged (or are the original versions before downconverting to SNES). 14~16: DEAD DANCE Listed composers: Yasuhiko Takashiba, Suguru Ishida "Sound composed by: Yasuhiko Takashiba, Suguru Ishida" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_DEPZoWjMU&t=27m42s. 17~19: Ikari no Yousai Listed composer: Yasuyuki Suzuki "Music: Y. Suzuki" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tw6ZemgDw_g&t=7m26s. 20~21: USA ICE HOCKEY Listed composer: CMS "Composer: CMS Takeshi" - http://gdri.smspower.org/wiki/index....ory_Archive_01. 22~23: Super Aoki Ookami to Shiroki Mejika Listed composer: Michiru Oshima wouldn't be one of these without a KOEI game 24~26: Bio Metal Listed composer: Yoshio Nagashima "Composer: Yoshio Nagashima" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iEfkX5TvnM&t=21m15s. Tracks 24 and 25 are arranged by a mystery person. 27~28: Laplace no Ma Listed composers: Akiko Kosaka, Takane Ohkubo "Music: Akiko Kosaka" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3bdRUTVIpw&t=28m48s. Only Kosaka is credited for music in the game, and Ohkubo doesn't include the game on his very thorough works list. I don't know what to make of the credit of Ohkubo. There are also versions of this game for other systems: PC-88/98, X68K, etc. These tracks may originally be from one of them. EDIT (2019-07-15): Track 27 is an arrangement of ラプラスのテーマ~旅立つ勇者~ from the original PC-88 game, composed by Akiko Kosaka, while track 28 appears to be original. However, neither track appears to actually be used in the SNES game??? They're not in the SNESmusic set, and track 27 isn't used during the intro (which is where it appears in other versions of the game). So maybe Ohkubo was involved with these unused songs. 29~31: Barcode Battler Senki Listed composers: Takashi Kutsukake, Hisao Ogawa, 増山裕一 "Sound Composer: Ogawa Hisao, Masuyama Yuuichi, Kutukake Takashi, Matushima Tomoko" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LY8-E1TFi0&t=9m07s 32: Exhaust Heat II: F-1 Driver no Kiseki Listed composer: Opus Studio Inc. ((株)オーパス) "Music Composer: M. Akahori, H. Nakayama (Opus)" - http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/snes/a/f1roc22.htm. I didn't know until now that Hiro Nakayama stayed along when GOBLIN SOUND became Opus. Neat. 33~35: The Great Battle III Listed composer: Norihiko Togashi Also on his old works list: http://web.archive.org/web/200301011.../txt/work.html. 36~38: Ryuuki Heidan Danzalv Listed composer: Hiroshi Nishizawa this one has an OST so piece of cake 39~41: METAL MAX 2 Listed composer: Satoshi Kadokura "Compose: Kadokura Satoshi" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVRuxSS3cbs&t=15m03s. 42~46: Pop'n Twinbee Listed composer: Kukeiha Club there's some garbage about the sound staff in this thread Last edited by CHz; Mar 25, 2021 at 10:46 PM. Reason: some of these aren't exactly in-game audio |

More arranged tracks here that aren't listed as such, this time Ogre Battle and Albert Odyssey. As usual I suspect these are the original demo versions before they were converted to the final SNES instruments.

For Operation Logic Bomb, the "BGM 2" track on this disc is the stage 2 music. But "BGM 3" is used in stage 4 and "BGM 4" in stage 3. Same for both the Japanese and localized versions. As far as I can tell there are no differences in the audio between the game and this disc.
