KICA-2586~8: Shiro SAGISU Music from "SHIN EVANGELION"
Is there a Kanon D-dur reference in 2.14 "the path"?
The string insert at 2:50 (https://youtu.be/Sp5ujORlY3o?t=164) sound very reminiscent of "Kanon D-dur" by Johann Pachelbel, which has been featured in the original series. Sagisu also did record a proper arrangement of it (https://twitter.com/ShiroSAGISU_twi/...03671390261253), but while it sounds closer to the version used in "the path", it wasn't featured in the album.
