MOMO (#152)

Is this Momo the same one that provided vocals to Sonic the Hedgehog Remix? I find it interesting that the one track "momo" contributed to on that album was arranged by Masafumi Ogata, and both Ogata and this "momo" are involved with Death Crimson 2, as if they were in the same unit or something.

Hitomi Momoi's biographies on Wikipedia and her site start her singing career with the band POR in 1995, which make me doubt she was the singer on 1994's Sonic the Hedgehog Remix. Definitely not impossible at all, though.

However, I'm having major doubts that Hitomi Momoi is in fact the MOMO who worked with Masafumi Ogata. Both of them were part of the band TOY'S PLANET, which is not mentioned in either of Momoi's biographies.

They were part of AMS (Amusement & Multimedia Studio), the precursor of Sound AMS. AMS isn't mentioned at all either.

Unfortunately, the TOY'S PLANET site on ask.or.jp wasn't archived at all, and the one on AMS doesn't have any useful biographical information archived to verify the identity of this MOMO.

EDIT: Hahahaha, part of AMS, right? Maybe MOMO is Momo Michishita!
EDIT²: Some guys on 2ch think it might be Michishita too.
EDIT³: Somehow I never noticed that Michishita's staff blurb says she participated in Death Crimson 2 as a voice actress. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER
