Not sure what happened with this thread but it doesn't link to the album anymore. Tried changing the review ID to 0 and back but didn't work.

The links only work for threads inside Album Discussions (rather than the parent forum). I've moved it back there, not sure how it got placed in VGM discussion.

For some reason, I can't rate albums anymore. Has this been happening to anybody else?

I was able to add (and remove) an album rating. What does it say when you try?

Before I wasn't even able to remove ratings but somehow it is now working ok again.

It seems we have the same problem as last January; album view counts are stuck at 1.
Cache issue again? |

The background process that updates the counts got stuck; I restarted it and it's now catching up.

I've just upgraded the forums to the latest security patch.

I don't see the vBulletin copyright footer any more. I thought you aren't supposed to remove that.

I obtained the option to remove it, so it's all good.

If you want to hide the version number (which is a good idea for avoiding bots being able to easily find exploitable outdated installations) you may want to hide it in the meta generator tag within the html head as well.

I haven't noticed that personally. Is it just the thumbnails, or do the full covers not show up for you either?

Yeah, I've been experiencing the same problem the last couple of days. A hard refresh tends to fix it if it doesn't show at first at least.

The matter happened only recently and only with Firefox: i got the error "ssl_error_internal_error_alert" trying to view the URL of the thumbnails, while it works flawlessly with IE. EDIT at 9PM: works again normaly. Last edited by Myrkul; Sep 28, 2016 at 11:17 AM. |

Ah, guess my fix worked then. Our thumbnails are being proxied through Cloudflare, and I happened to switch on SSL as an experiment exactly one year ago.
Seems like the SSL certificate has expired. There's no way to manually change it on a free Cloudflare account (it's just an SSL on/off switch) so I turned it off. |

I don't remember this so anyway... Tested with barcode and catalog fields, the removal or addition of a leading zero isn't recognized as a valid submission e.g. 0325345666 -> 325345666 (and the other way round) can't be done directly.

The deceased date now shows up as long as any of the three fields are filled out. (Not sure there will ever be a case where we only know the day, and not the month or year, but it works too.)

I am sure this is not a bug but a problem from my side, but i am posting it here to ask you guys about it:
I recently updated to firefox 49.0.2 and since that update i have a weird problem on the "Manage Covers" upload part. The button "Select Files" does not show anymore... the others works fine but this one will disappear after the complete load of the page. I am pretty sure there's a problem with Java... I currently don't have Java installed nor any Java module for firefox. I don't explain why it worked before and not now anymore. Ideas ? |

Does the non-Flash/JS uploader work for you?

I have the same problem. The non-flash uploader works though, never had a problem with that one.

Works fine for me on Firefox 50, but I did have to enable Flash the first time I visited the cover page. Make sure Flash is updated and Firefox isn't blocking it for some reason.

The non-flash version works of course.
It's a flash problem and not a javascript one i am pretty sure. In Firefox, i have the Plugin "Shockwave Flash 23.0.0.207" (always activate) Also have "Adoble Flash Player 23 NPAPI" installed in the computer. I tryed to see if it was another module on firefox that could cause the problem, so i tested without any, and the problem is still here. Firefox Safe Mode failed Disable material acceleration for flash failed Disable protected mode in flash module failed Emptying firefox caches, flash cashes, dns flush... failed Don't know what to do, might try to install chrome but i don't want to... |

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling flash?

I just tried. Nothing changed.
The weird thing is, when the page is loading (really short time) i can see the button, then the page load and the button goes white (it still works by the way) but it's like the "picture" of the button is gone. |

Hmm... it worked for me. Maybe a cache issue on your end?
