This game has lots of composers. From Capcom, Tetsuya Shibata, Shusaku Uchiyama, Kento Hasegawa, Kota Suzuki, and Akihiko Narita. From T's music, Chamy Ishikawa, Rei Kondo, and Satoshi Miyashita. This information is based on the game credits and the Special Soundtrack credits (see Chudah's Corner -- all but Miyashita are listed).

I don't have a booklet to look at. After finding Devil May Cry 3 massively inferior to previous instalments, I'm hesitant to buy this. Then again, learning so many composers are involved might mean it's an improvement. Scans would be really helpful.

So Chris' proposed changes look like this:

Old: Tetsuya Shibata, Kento Hasegawa, Masami Ueda

New: Tetsuya Shibata, Shusaku Uchiyama, Kota Suzuki, Akihiko Narita, Rei Kondo, Chamy Ishikawa, Satoshi Miyashita, Masami Ueda

I don't know where the original set of 3 names came from, so I'm not sure what to do with this until we have scans.

Sorry, Kento Hasegawa should still be there. I think the original names came from the credits of those few individual pieces. Masami Ueda's contribution is only a reprise from Devil May Cry, though.

DTwirler submitted a new change to the artists:

remove: Satoshi Miyashita
add: Shinichiro Satoh

He added complete track-by-track credits, so it seems credible. Does anyone have a source to confirm this?

She, actually. )

I do have pictures, but they're not scans. Someone took pictures of the booklet, and the quality isn't that great. I've been looking for someone who could scan them for me, but no luck no far.

I'm sure we'll get some scans up for the album eventually. Meanwhile, I've updated the artist links to reflect the latest edits.

Thanks so much for the individual credits. They're very useful and interesting -- I wonder if Tetsuya Shibata left Capcom during the score's production? Do you happen to know whether Devil May Cry 2 has individual credits? I only own the original Devil May Cry soundtrack so can't check myself.

I doubt he left - I saw his name in the credits of the RE5 trailer for the music. D

And I have scans of DMC2 as well, but none of the tracks are singled out (that I can tell) like the other OSTs. So I guess that one will have to remain a mystery... I'll be uploading those soon.
