The SEGA STORE lists the disc order as Kiryu Quotes, Majima Quotes, Sound Track. The discs' catalog numbers seem to contradict this ordering.

If I'm reading the scans correctly, the Kiryu disc has 687-00326 on it, the Majima disc has 687-00322 on it and the Sound disc has 687-00318 on it. That would make the order Sound Track, Majima Quotes, Kiryu Quotes, the inverse of the SEGA STORE listing. Unless it's a situation where the higher number is first? Or I could be completely off-mark about everything.

The obi of the game's packaging also listed the quote discs as Disc A, B, and the soundtrack as Disc C
Catalogs are printed on all 3 discs AND the booklets.

Catalog list [CD/booklet]:
Soundtrack: 687-00318/19
Kiryu's quotes CD: 687-00320/21
Majima's: 687-00322/23

If we are to follow Sega's listing of ABC, then the catalog for the entry would be 687-00320/322/318. Which makes me wonder, is there any rule stated that catalogs must be in ascending order?

687 catalogs mustn't be used, it's "individual" catalogs per items (booklet etc have those too) not the "cd" catalogs (610 or now 690)

I'd say yes. 1 disc contains 12 tracks from YAKUZA KIWAMI and 8 tracks from YAKUZA KIWAMI 2, a second disc contains voice clips of Kazuma Kiryu and a third disc contains voice clips of Goro Majima. Does this answer the question?

Yep. I'm just intrigued considering we've never got a Kiwami 2 soundtrack and it looks like this release doesn't help at all...
