The albums these entries bring up are a bit confusing, I think. Basically, there's three completely different soundtracks:
The note about being "musically equivalent" on this page should probably be removed if I understood this post correctly. If you compare B2PS-1001's track 26 to tracks 18 and 10, it's the same composition but the individual versions' arrangements and sound sources are different. And the note about being "musically equivalent" on this page should definitely be removed as the MSX2 and MSX versions are not even the same compositions. Ideally, this page shouldn't list KHY-1028 as it's not represented on that album. Similarly, this page shouldn't list BY30-5170. Hope I didn't mix anything up... |

I think I've made all the changes correctly. A lot of these early games from the japanese pcs are tricky, so I am not surprised there are some errors. Thank you for putting together a thorough list of changes.

Yeah, it's hard to wade through all the ports and different soundtracks, right? Thanks for taking care of it.
I'm sorry, but as I went over these pages again, I found some more stuff: release 4609 - remove albums 1462 and 78857 release 1846 - remove albums 7036, 982, 1454, 7014, 40510, 62362 release 4610 - remove albums 14638 / 2904, 1460, 7036, 982, 1454, 7014 and 40510 - add album 78857 album 7181 - add to products 1838, 1839, 1840, 12668 and 4609 (or, if not, remove from product 2529; you only need to look at tracks 7, 8, 9 and 10 to decide; since the original albums are linked to the other versions, I'd go with adding this one to the other pages too) And that should be it. I couldn't check the doujin/fan stuff, though. |

I made some of the easier changes. For some of the other arrangement albums, it would be easier to go by album, and list which specific releases the music is from.
The way the product linking works, we can either select 1) All releases, or 2) selectively pick the releases that pertain to that album. All of the modifications are done on the albums pages. |

This is great. I was just looking into Xanadu music last week, but gave up because it all seemed so confusing. I might give it another go, thanks to zierts.
