Although the OST isn't out yet, there are detailed credits for the music in the game's staff roll sequence.

Not sure if they can already be submitted in this entry or if it's best to wait for the actual CD release.

So it looks like this OST release is also going to include the OST for the original Fire Emblem Gaiden (probably something similar to disc 2 of "Fire Emblem The Best Vol.1"). And that is direct Yuka Tsujiyoko composition, so listing Tsujiyoko as only a "featured" composer (that being, her work is being re-arranged by others for Echoes) is not valid for this OST since it includes Tsujiyoko's original works. We should probably un-check the "featured" box for her on composition.

Judging by the brief mentions of him in the notes and interview on the album's site, it sounds like he was brought on more to help out on the production side with the recording/mixing/etc., which was large-scale for an Intelligent Systems game. Though obviously he did contribute music too.

I should note that, besides Wada, all composers are in-house Intelligent Systems composers and two of them have worked on Fire Emblem Fates, so I guess Wada's contribution may not be that much in regards to composition.

Still, he's credited as a composer, so he must have done more than just production or arrangements of Yuka Tsujiyoko's work from the original FE Gaiden, which I must say is a really nice addition to this album and it will be fun comparing the orchestral rearrangements side-by-side with the chiptune originals.

The 4 music CDs appear to have the main game's music, while the 5th CD (dubbed the "data disc") has songs found exclusively through amiibo, DLC, the English version of the ending theme, and the original Fire Emblem Gaiden soundtrack. Some of these songs are taken from previous games of the series, either in original version or newly rearranged.

As such, Yuka Tsujiyoko, Hiroki Morishita, Rei Kondoh and Yoshito Hirano are credited as well.

Correct, "Battle Map 8" specifically (last map, enemy phase).

Serenes Forest has an English tracklist, which I think comes from the localized in-game sound test track names.

What's with the "*" on some of the English track names? Serenes Forest doesn't have them, which makes me wonder where they come from if Serenes Forest uses the in-game sound test.

I assume they're unofficial English translations since the Sound Test in the game doesn't have all the songs in this OST album. Songs exclusive for amiibo features, DLC and the like are missing from the Sound Test.

EDIT: Corrected Takafumi Wada's studio name in the notes. It's "Dimension Cruise", not "Dimension Circle".

Even so, I don't think that requires an asterisk in the track's name. Maybe just a note in the album notes listing the tracks that don't have official English track names as they weren't included in the sound test. and if a trusted editor could make a product page for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia that'd be nice, just to link everything up and all.

So, this is still missing credits for disc 5, as well as missing performance and lyrics credits.

Also, I suggest better telling apart the original compositions for Echoes from Gaiden rearrangments in the song composition credits. Listing the songs by categories like this:
- Composed by Takeru Kanazaki/Yasuhisa Baba/Takafumi Wada/Shoh Murakami
- Originally composed by Yuka Tsujiyoko, arranged by Takeru Kanazaki/Yasuhisa Baba/Takafumi Wada/Shoh Murakami

I don't have time right now to be doing this but I could do so later if someone doesn't do it in the meantime.

Yes, I put an asterisk on tracks that don't have an official English translation. I wasn't sure how else to represent that, but I guess just listing them in the notes would work.

I'll do some corrections now. The problem with listing original composers is that, especially for Disc 5, it's unknown which tracks are which. I have a copy of the soundtrack ripped from the game and there are a few tracks that are remixes from Mystery of the Emblem, but the titles don't obviously match up with the ones on Disc 5. Does anyone have the actual CDs and can verify which tracks are which?

Also worth asking -- we don't add bonus disc / data disc mp3 content as an actual disc, do we? This should be a 4 CD tracklist not 5.

Pretty sure we do count it, at least, that's how it was with Fire Emblem if. Is there a reason why we wouldn't count it if it has songs on it?

edit: rather, it'll be counted as a data disc/DVD at the very least, similar to if's release, as both disc 8 from Fire Emblem if and disc 5 from Fire Emblem Echoes have "DATADISC" written on them, and in addition to extras they do have quite a bit of songs on them as well, so I'd say it should be changed to "4CD + DVD".

I think someone added that after the fact. As far as I have known the rule is we do not put data discs in the database. The only exception I have seen is Bluray audio discs, which are technically mixed content since they have the BDA and mp3s in a zip file. I don't think we have any of the Falcom redbook audio cds or any of those bonus discs that have videos on them.

Need Staff to confirm/deny.

I have a question, though. Does the Data Disc have HD cutscenes, like the Kakusei and if Soundtracks?

It has the HD opening cutscene, yes. That's it for video.
