Is anyone able to identify the Kanji used for the medley tracks? We could do with proper tracklists for these and I weren't able to find anything around the web.

Over the titles for both sides it says "Original Soundtrack Orchestra Version". I'll add it if there is no problem.

Thanks. And yes, that seems to be part of the album title(s) - sure makes it more descriptive, too.

Is this album actually fully instrumental, or is there chiptune music mixed in? Some of the sounds sound like chiptunes, so if it is actually fully instrumental, I would say they did an amazing job!

I haven't listened to this in ages so I'd have to reacquaint myself first before commenting, but there's this description printed on the cover of the other album, in case you didn't see it, which sheds at least some light on the process behind making these albums.

オーケストラ・ヴァージョンとは:
元来、オーケストラとは管弦楽団のこと
であるが、この作品ではシンセサイザー、
コン ピューター系サンブリング楽器* を
駆使して、演奏編成を増やし、ファミコ
ンのオリジナル音源をベースに、オーケ
ストレートされたものである。

* 自然音、楽器斉を基準音でサンプリングし、
キーボードから発する音階指令に従って、
そのサンプル音色で音階を論る楽器。
