Default Assassin's Creed II Bonus DVD
Seems like there are many complaints about the "soundtrack" you can find on this release (now going for 100€+ on ebay).

There are 14 tracks that can be "played" using DVD's menus.
By this, i mean the soundtrack is part of the data, constitued by .vob files only.

I don't know if this kind of release & format still have it's place on the database, but it probably doesn't hurt much to keep it.

I am curious to know if the Prince of Persia bonus DVD was also built like this ?

Yeah, I think that this format has a place here, even though there will only be a few releases like this.

I am sorry terrania but i can't really answer to that question as i do not own that DVD.

Like i said on my first post, there are only 14 tracks of music (that you can't even play on a normal disc player).
So it's even more incomplete than the digital release.

Now if the 14 tracks are exactly the same ones.. or if there is any exclusive track ? I don't know.

I was also curious about this. As i don't have a copy of this disc, all i could do is compare the tracklist to the Original Game Soundtrack and it seems all these tracks are also present on the OST.

This is an extremely late answer... Some tracks are a bit longer because they have a bit of extra material compared to the full soundtrack, but are the same except these few extra seconds; e.g. Ezio's Family here has a slightly longer start section where the choir kicks in at 0:15 (happens at 0:07 in full OST) and from 3:15 to 3:21 there's a slight vocal transition to the final part which isn't present in full OST version. Home in Florence has prolonged very quiet ending vs. the OST shorter end etc.
