I wonder if anyone can come up with a good way to translate 'Sengoku Gunyuuden'?

Have been translated in the past with: "Rival Chiefs of Warring States".

But i personally don't know if it's a good translation..

Wow this album is like pure vocal except I think two of the tracks. I didn't find any of the vocals very pleasing though. I thought they were mediocre.

I imagine Kanno has written better vocal pieces later down the line?

Like you wouldn't believe. Very few vocal selections from her Nobunaga catalog are representative of what she can do with the vocal medium--"Searching for Time" is certainly the closest, and the best of the Nobunaga era.

Yeah that was actually one of the tracks I actually will listen to on occasion from this album. Nothing fantastic, but pretty good.
