I know this seems odd, but does anyone know, which of the first 25 releases (N**D-0XX) came with an obi? Or any other extras like registry, sticker etc.? I could find pictures with obis for:
N25D-019 N25D-020 N30D-021 But that's it. So I'm pretty unsure about the rest. |

I can confirm the following albums have an obi:
N30D-025: Romancing SaGa 2 Eternal Romance N25D-022: Romancing SaGa 2 Original Sound Version N32D-007~8: All Sounds of SaGa |

Thanks Myrkul, this already helps a lot. Must have missed N30D-025 as it has an 'Obi'-picture in the database. Didn't know about the other two though.

Missing holes in the discography:
NTCP-5005, NTCP-5007~9, NTCP-5020, NTCP-5025, NTCP-5032, NTCP-5040, NTCP-5042: cancelled/not planned PSCN-50XX reprints? NTCP5044/5: cancelled Gun Hazard reprint? (it's listed at SEMO) (the NXXD go from -001 to -025 so they are complete but not sure what the XX stand for) |

N09D-004 N09D-012 N09D-016 N09D-023 N09D-024 Also the two Piano Collections got N38D-0XX as only ones N38D-010 N38D-018 You also find this kind of labeling on other labels, like early Scitron DXXB-XXXX, so I guess there must be some kind of system behind it, though I don't know it yet Last edited by suicider; Jan 4, 2011 at 11:05 PM. |

Ok I think I got it now.
N09D costs 900Y, N23D = 2300Y, N32D = 3200Y, N38D = 3800Y, and so on... How dumb is that? Scitron may be following something similar but doesn't quite match, maybe our album's prices are incorrect/without tax? (ex. D28B-0013 > 2627Y, almost 2800Y) |

EDIT: it's the same with the Scitron releases: the price on the backside of the case matches the "catalogue number price". So I guess some of the prices might be wrong (although I haven't got behind the tax-part yet. Does it depend on the prefectures in Japan?) EDIT2: the only Scitron release that doesn't quite match is D24B-1003. The Obi states 2.500Y as price. But maybe Scitron gave a wrong catalogue number. The other two releases in this vein (D25B-1001, D25B-1002) also show some strange prices on the pics And it seems like more labels used this System: at least Meldac and G.M.O. D28B-0013 + D28B-0001 etc.: Last edited by suicider; Jan 5, 2011 at 03:05 AM. |

Nice, that makes filling catalogue holes easier.
I think the publisher could change the price after setting the cat# or in 2nd prints so maybe they won't always match. About tax basically albums should have the price listed in the obi/back, which is the price with tax applied. D28B-0013 listed 2647Y which I guess is the price without taxes. Though our current scans may be from another printing, looking at that album's thread? |
