Cause it would be nice to add Fallout 2 as well to the database as well, denoted here:

They both don't seem to official as I cant find any information on them.

Fallout 1 is really official. Smitty of the PC Game Soundtrack Database has seen and handled several copies of it.

The Fallout 2 soundtrack doesn't look official though.

The Fallout soundtrack CD is genuine, although quite rare. It's mentioned on several sites, plus a copy of it was sold on eBay not so long ago.

As for Fallout 2, there was no official album release. The link you posted is about what looks like a game rip.

I heard from someone who has owned this soundtrack in the past that it would have been just a direct transcode from the lossy sourced files, located in the game's installation folder. Can't say for certain it's true, but it truly made me lose my interest for this rare release.

Just want to correct the rumor about the lossy master - no, this disc has a real audio-cd tracks, with full spectrums and stuff. So it didn't come from a lossy source.

Someone said that once, and now everyone copies that mistake or misunderstanding.
