I see many sites claim SEGA Games as actually having been the successor to SEGA, with SEGA Interactive having been a new company spun off from SEGA. I guess in that case, SEGA Games would actually be the one publishing games developed by SEGA Games. Perhaps SEGA Interactive also published the games it developed? I'm not knowledgable enough about their corporate dealings to know how the development/publishing dealings worked in that period.

Here's a press release about SEGA's corporate restructuring in 2015.
https://www.segasammy.co.jp/japanese..._j_final_1.pdf

On Apr 1, 2015 three new companies were established by splitting off parts of SEGA Corporation:
- SEGA Holdings Co., Ltd.
- SEGA Interactive Co., Ltd.
- SEGA LIVE CREATION Inc.

Following that SEGA Networks, Ltd. was merged into SEGA Corporation.

And finally SEGA Corporation was renamed to SEGA Games Co., Ltd.

And then here's a press release about further restructuring in 2020.
https://www.segasammy.co.jp/japanese...on_j_final.pdf
On Apr 1, 2020:
- SEGA Interactive Co., Ltd. was merged into SEGA Games Co., Ltd.
- Subsequently SEGA Games Co., Ltd. was renamed to SEGA Corporation.
- SEGA Holdings Co., Ltd. was renamed to SEGA Group Corporation.

So you're right, these games can't have been published by SEGA Corporation for the simple reason that SEGA Corporation did not exist between 2015 and 2020.

Looking at the back of the games I see that they give 株式会社セガゲームス in Japanese but just "SEGA" for the company credit in English like copyrights: https://static.mercdn.net/item/detai...jpg?1605175897

The games also seemed to have continued using the SEGA brand (despite there no longer being a company with that name).

Looking at this album it seems to be the same thing there as well: https://vgmdb.net/db/covers.php?do=view&cover=407517
株式会社セガゲームス is used for the company credit in Japanese but just "SEGA" in English.

The way we generally deal with renamed corporations is by having separate pages for them, so the consistent thing to do here would be to split SEGA Corporation into multiple entries.

SEGA Corporation (1960-2015)
Established: Jun 3, 1960
Defunct: Mar 31, 2015
Succeeded by: SEGA Games Co., Ltd., SEGA Holdings Co., Ltd., SEGA Interactive Co., Ltd., SEGA LIVE CREATION Inc.

SEGA Corporation (2020-)
Established: Apr 1, 2020
Predecessors: SEGA Games Co., Ltd., SEGA Interactive Co., Ltd.

SEGA (Label/Brand)
Any music published under the SEGA brand (regardless of the company that did the publishing). This entry is needed because music still used the SEGA branding between 2015 and 2020 despite there being no company with that name.

There should also be a separate entry for SEGA Enterprises, as セガ・エンタープライゼス was the company name up until 2000, as noted in their company history page. https://sega.co.jp/company/history/index.html
