You know after playing this game for extensive periods, you know in the back of your mind that it has good music, but it doesn't even phase you after a while. Primarily this is because there is 50 minutes of music in the longest and biggest console game ever created, at the time. Morrowind and Oblivion would be the king of all games, if Soule somehow kept the same sound that is on this soundtrack, but went JRPGish and composed themes for all the towns, a couple battle themes, and a couple world themes, and some dungeon ones ( I don't even think there was one).
However, after not playing the game for at least 3 years and listening to it now, it is definitely WONDERFUL. Most people know about the Main Theme - Nerevar Rising by now, which is just killer and is made better in my opinion in the Reprise version.
Soule always does good making tracks extremely atmospheric yet at the same time making them melodic at times and listenable outside his games.
In addition to the main theme, check out peaceful waters, knight's charge, over the next hill, bright spears dark blood, the road most travelled, silt sunrise, shed your travails, and caprice.
And there is just a few fillers.
Easily a 4/5, but I'll give it a 3.5 just for pissing me off in the game.
