Just a quick question Myrkul - has leading zeros in notes section become a rule or is it only your preference?

I see no reason to change (example)

Clint Mansell (2)
to
Clint Mansell (02)

but if it's a rule, I'll obey it.

I think it's better this way. That's just a preference.
I am also used to it for the covers, as "1" will be after "10" and that's nonsence.

Yeah, it is nonsense for covers, but it's normal in notes. Everyone has its own style I guess.

Hmm, that's surprising. I thought Mansell would be responsible for a large part of the score.

It's laughable really. Like the thing with Fable 2 and Elfman doing only the main theme.

But yea "Leaving Earth" is definitely Mansell's style.

Had a listen. Sounds like the standard western Zimmer stuff to me, really nothing that stuck out. Probably fits the game well, but (at least for me) nothing I could listen to out of context.

It's an OK soundtrack, good for the game context, it's overall better than those long-ass character themes from ME2, at least for me.

Another question: OST could officially be downloaded from March 5th (the date is shown on EA's download page), should the release date here be changed too?

Really? Only one track from Clint Mansell? That's disappointing!

Obviously. They probably had to pay him 35 million dollars for one track.

It's probably why Jack Wall left the project; all that was left for the other composers was 5 dollars.

Just a word about the new cover.
This a "non-official" FIXED cover of the "official" cover.
The official cover had a typo in it, so this is a corrected picture.

That cover was available separately on the official bioware download page of the soundtrack.

Guys, Clint Mansell also wrote much of the ending track, #22. It seems Bioware wanted an emotive human touch for the beginning and resolution of their story. And the pieces are quite beautiful. Yet the rest of the soundtrack needs an electronic scifi edge, which isn't Mansell's specialty.
