Release date is August 10, 2012. This isn't just some doujin either, a few recognizable names here. Interesting mix of games chosen and musical styles not strictly in rock but traditional Japanese, jazz, jazz-fusion and symphonic. I wonder if this one will get a standard release a la Falcom vs JDK Band?

The "Evil Shaman" arrangement (at 2:13 on the YouTube preview) really kicks serious ass. Totally calls back to 90's Perfect Collection arrangements mixed with some Kukeiha Club. Kamikura must have done his history!

The first track in the preview sounds like Kamikura in Gothic Rock mode. Definitely one of his fortes.

Yeah, he plays with the Falcom JDK band now, if I'm not mistaken. And his direction of the Sekaiju no MeiQ3 Super Arrange Version also conjured up memories and images of Falcom JDK in terms of style, so I think he's a big Falcom fan overall.

Intriguing. Since Kamikura can do FM arrangements (track 6), makes me wonder if he is the one doing the Sekaiju 4 FM arrange album or if that one is Koshiro. I guess time will tell.
