Default Small question

Hi there!

Just to ask why I can't ask for help and information on the notes field of an album? I've been trying to find info on that Castlevania vinyl I own for months now - this is a good chance of meeting people who might know more than me on it.

Thanks

It's just not the place for it, quite simply - you should never add anything but factual information. If you want to inquire for further information regarding an album it's better to do that by posting a message here on the forums.

And besides, if someone sees the entry in question and feels they have additional information to add, chances are they'll do so anyway =)

All of the text in the entry has to hold to a pretty high standard, much as an encyclopedia would. This means that personal references, speaking in first person, etc. should all be avoided. There are a few other albums that probably don't meet this guideline, and we're not singling you out, but it just cauased us to notice that it's something we need to clarify.

Sure thing, understood.

It's just that I posted on many forums before and nobody had something interesting to say about it, apart from "lolz it's Konamix it's a fake it should be Konami!".

Oh well maybe some guy... someday... will lighten me up.

Sorry for the double post.

Is there a way that vinyl can be linked to the Dracula X Remix(i)es soundtrack? Would make quite sense, but I can't modify that.

Also, I've been looking for the soundtrack to the game "D", but I have to input at least 3 letters to do a search - I'll be getting that OST soon and it was just to know if it was possible to just put "D" as title.

Pretty sure "D" didn't get a soundtrack release. D2 however, did. It also had two arrangement CDs (Sketches) and a remix CD, all of which are already listed on VGMdb. Though if you know something I don't and the original "D" did get a release, please let me know!

Sure, I'll let you know when I get the soundtrack.

Nothing to about the link to Dracula X Remixes on the vinyl's page?

I am nearly sure "D" got a soundtrack too.. i am pretty sure i found it once on YJA and got the covers somewhere.. but i don't remember under which name i took it.. (not "D no Shokutaku" that's weird), and searching for "D" in thousands of files is impossible.
Was there any other name for this game?

Edit: Hmm i could be confused with another soundtrack.. from the game "Quest of D".. this album is subtitled "D Soundtrack".
It's weird i have the feeling i saw that bloodletter D somewhere before.

It's not an exact reprint of Dracula X Remixes, which has several additional tracks, so it probably doesn't make sense to treat it as a reprint.

I'm not sure how to search for a single "D" in a title effectively. is there a catalog number for this D soundtrack?

I don't know if it's the same soundtrack he's talking about, but apparently the director's cut version of D came with an enclosed soundtrack: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D_(video_game)#Production

All right for the vinyl, it's a unique print after all, so it's good not to link it to anything else. But for example, "my" Duke Nukem and Shadow Man soundtracks are linked to another one, even though they're not a reprint nor affiliated with it.

Well, I have got such a tiny picture of the "D" stuff soundtrack I have that I'd rather wait till I get it physically. Looks like a paper sleeve though, and has the huge bloody "D" like the Wiki[censor] link.

FYI, I added the CD to the database. The only scan I could find is a picture of the actual game's cover. When anybody gets more info on it, please do some updating.

Hi there, I got the album I was talking of. It's a different one though, please check its page as soon as I finished updating the pictures and info.
