Does anyone know anything about what this album is all about? Like, who's working on it?

I think it's just Kenji Ito and he'll arranging his contributions to the Seiken Densetsu. At least, that's what one of my Japanese friends told me he mentioned on Twitter. Of course, all speculation at this point.

Ito self-arranging his music? Hmm. My favorite arrangements are when Ito's compositions are arranged by others (the SD1 orchestra album, the Romancing SaGa arrange albums).

Whoever first listed this has it listed as a "Vocal" album. If it's primarily vocal, that could be VERY interesting.

SQEX Store says it's arranged in many different styles. It mentions guitar, piano and vocal but also club mix.

Hm, sounds like it could be hit or miss. Aynway, I'm looking forward to it - and I hope it's any good.

I think he was supposed to select just Arrangement, but...

why "he was" cedille?
since you're the one who submitted the album you should say "I was" (typo or pretending it has never happened? )

I thought everyone knew it, so really didn't expect anyone felt I played innocent.

I've found a bigger version of the cover here here but for some reason I can't upload it.

I think kikuta should make something too
or a re:birth/SD kikuta arrange album could come too (with sd2-3)

I'll be more interested by that one than by ito's tbh

There's a new sample up on the website, replacing the old one.

There's a tracklist on CD Japan and Amazon.co.jp :

1. Rising Sun
2. マナの使命
3. 聖剣を求めて
4. 最後の決戦
5. 愚者の舞
6. 終わりなき愛
7. (予定情報)計10曲収録予定

The 4 first tracks seem to be :

1 Rising Sun
2 Mana's Mission
3 In Search of the Sacred Sword
4 Final Battle

I don't know about the last ones, I can't deal with japanese.
AFAIK, the sample is actually "Fight 2" but it doesn't seem to match with the actual tracklist (or I'm missing something), the name may has been changed, or maybe it's a part of a medley i don't know...

5 is The Fool's Dance, 6 is The Endless Dream. These are from Seiken Densetsu 4.

7 means the tracklist is not complete yet, there should be 10 tracks in the end.

Oh, I see, thanks for the precisions.
I submitted the tracklist since I wasn't aware it's not complete yet, my mistake.

No problem, I removed it for now then until the full one is released.

According to my friend in Tokyo:

https://twitter.com/#!/ryu_sai/statu...35508423667712

@DonKotowski Nobu44 is Sano-san, right? I saw him at Press Start! Shimomura-san and Kikuta-san will release Seiken arrange albums!

So, it seems you'll get your wish! I'm wondering if it was mentioned at Press Start. I'll ask her to be sure.

EDIT: She says it's mentioned in the advertisement flyer that comes with the Seiken Box Set.

Hmm, I just inspected the OSV unpacking video, where you briefly see this flyer.
At least it's not on the front side (there we have FF Type-0, Cafe SQ, new FF XI, SQ Chips, NieR Tribute, GIDEON). Lots of text on the back side though.

Wow! While I'm looking forward to Ito's arrange album, I sure would love to see something from Shimomura and Kikuta especially for sure! Awesome news!

it's on the "back" side of the flyer =)
but no dates, no catalogues for both (so kikuta has vol.2 and shimomura vol.3)

Yeah, I believe I read that Kikuta's would be out Winter 2011, but I'm not positive.

Big props to user Api-Vat for the scans. However, booklet p. 03-04 had about 20% of the bottom cut off, so some lyrics and liner notes text were lost.

Hence, I broke out my scanner and scanned that exact page and did a replace.
