Judging by the copies popping up on YJA it looks like they fixed the "MTETAL MAX" spelling error present on the early sample images.

While unfortunately the box set's booklet doesn't list the origin of every track, the parenthetical abbreviations on some of the track names indicate the source game(s) for tracks that were featured in multiple titles. This shows there are at least a few tracks included from all 8 Metal Max games (MM1-4, Xeno, and the 3 remakes). Only Metal Saga is unrepresented.
