the date is wrong, and I think it should be aug 1978 when Epic Sony was created

actually, before 1991 epic/sony was a division of cbs/sony group and during/after 1991 became a division of sony music entertainment

Did Epic/Sony Records label exist in 1978? I think I separated a corporation from a label when I submitted this entry, and thus the corporation "Epic/Sony.Inc" and the label "Epic/Sony Records" aren't necessarily the same thing. But I agree my research is somewhat wrong, as 1991 seems to be the date when the label name started to use normal case.

A corporation;
1978 Epic/Sony
1988 CBS/Sony
1991 Sony Music Entertainment

A label
1978 (none?)
1988 EPIC/SONY RECORDS
1991 Epic/Sony Records

actually, I changed the date of epic/sony records to 1988 since apparently before that date it seems to have no mention of records
thus, epic/sony (1978) -> epic/sony records @cbs/sony (1988) -> epic/sony records @sme (1991)

So I guess we need two more entries to link our album to properly orgs, Epic/Sony.Inc and EPIC/SONY RECORDS. The start year of this entry will be back to 1991.

actually, I think it's ok as it is
having epic/sony and epic/sony records (1988-1998)
having two epic/sony records could be worse than Nippon Columbia/NIPPON COLUMBIA
only the owner changed from cbs/sony to sme, basically it's like the same company

after thinking, it's maybe not a bad idea to separate those two epic/sony records
since sme was founded in 1991, this separation could have sense

however, I don't feel experienced enough with the label sytem to make the change by myself
I guess a new EPIC/SONY RECORDS imprint should be created and added to cbs/sony records (1988-1991)
