On the official site both Noriyuki Iwadare and Michiko Naruke are listed as '作・編曲家'. How do we have to interpret this?

If this is an Orgel/Musicbox CD, then shouldn't both be only arrangers?

作・編曲家 means they work as composers+arrangers (as a profession).

They are actually listed as arrangers (編曲者) in the header above their bio, but I couldn't find if they did both albums, there is no info.

Ahh, thanks for the clarification Dag!

So the main problem is that there isn't any detailled information on who did what on the two albums?

Ok I found this: http://jsearch.music.jp/album/KDSD-00436

I'm not familiar with the site but seems to be a DL service of sorts.
The composers and arrangers are listed (click on the track names), all are arranged by Iwadare. Naruke will do vol.2 then?
I checked a couple of composers and they match the original track, so it looks legit.

Pieced together the composer credits using vgmdb's database on Hakuoki albums. Since the composer credits on the linked site match the ones in the database I put Noriyuki Iwadare in the arranger's field but didn't assign him.

That DL site added the vol.2: http://jsearch.music.jp/album/KDSD-00437

It does credit some tracks to Naruke. I've checked a number of albums on their site and the credits seem correct and mimic what we have (ie.- they seem use whatever the publisher feeds them, like SQUARE ENIX MUSIC rather than Uematsu for some tracks in Dissidia 012 just like every DL site).

I doubt the DL site made these credits up, so I've added them to both albums. The booklet in vol.2 is quite bad with no credits and the text from the site copy-pasted, probably same with v1.

This site also credits Iwadare only for Vol.1
