Eric Brosius has clarified that the composers for System Shock 2 should be Josh Randall and Ramin Djawadi. I'm not sure if this release should be in the album db, since it's a privately burned CD. On the other hand an official source has confirmed its existence, as the link above shows, and seemingly has no objections to online distribution. |

Excellent find! I am a huge fan of this game and even though the soundtrack is small, it has some memorable tracks. I'm going to try and track down the actual files from this release sometime later, since it seems they released it on the Internet for free.

Actually i accidently found this OST in my collection and also wanted to catalogue it.
It NEVER came out as an official soundtrack though. So i am unsure in how to list it.

Why is this marked as "doujin" when this is the soundtrack to the actual game?

Good catch. I don't think a release by the composer qualifies as indie. The whole issue of defining the doujin/indie category is still contentious however.

GOG finally got a hold of SS2 and released it a few days ago, including this same soundtrack as a bonus item. Didn't check the MP3 version but the FLAC version is exactly the same one available on System Shock.org. I updated the 'Notes' section to reflect this, and also uploaded the cover image that GOG has included in the ZIP file.
I'm a bit uneasy with the cover, though. Usually, GOG doesn't include any reference to the game copyright holders, but this time the picture includes a watermark with that information. Should I contact GOG to ask them if it's okay to upload the picture here? That question is also extensible to all the other bonus soundtracks distributed by GOG already available on the database, watermarked covers or not.
