If anyone can fill out the unknown names in the notes field and add the artists to the performer field, please do.

The display title was replaced by something which I suspect was a literal translation of the Japanese subtitle. Or is it the official one? What little I know is the anime adaptation was also localized as Sands of Destruction.

EDIT: since the edit in question was 5 months ago, I'll going to remove it for now.

Good point, as it appears on the front, back and booklet.

Hello everyone.

I think it should stay as you say, without the subtitle. The translator told me she did a little research about the series and found the subtitle already translated in many places so decided to add it, but after reading the thread we both think you are right with the changes.

Thanks for your work and feel free to ask if I can help!

Mitsuda's worklist on Procyon Studio's webpage, mentions that he composed the main theme for this game.

"ワールド・デストラクション~導かれし意志~ ※オープニングテーマ他、数曲参加。- 作曲、編曲"

I'll admit I cant read Japanese and used a translator, so can anybody confirm this?

Mitsuda did in fact compose the main theme for the original version of the game World Destruction (Shunsuke Tsuchiya rewrote it for the overseas version), as well as several other pieces (他). This is confirmed on the sampler album for the game: http://vgmdb.net/album/9371. There was no full OST, so I'm not sure it's known exactly how much music he wrote.

This album is for the anime though!

By my count, around 11. Eventually I'll get around to posting another "guessing game" breakdown for WD...
