I think this may be another "same person" situation, though I'm nowhere near certain. Currently Norimasa Yamanaka only has one (unlinked) VGMdb entry here, though when the site begins accepting anime discs, that number will surely rise, as he's done a number of anime soundtracks (some of my favourites, even.)
There's some information about Kisow Yamanaka here too, but some of it lines up with Norimasa Yamanaka's work history (for instance, 801 T.T.S. Airbats and Maze the Megaburst Space.) Even more fun, BOTH names are credited on this release under music... certainly would be interested in seeing the actual credits for that. I guess this is a little outside the scope of the site right now, but it sure is bothering me. |

I'm pretty sure 紀昌 is readable both ways, and it doesn't seem to be a common given name (at least according to Google), so taking into account your research, I think they definitely are the same person.
None of the scans we have currently on VGMdb specifically credit him as Norimasa, not even the ones for F1 Triple Battle album you linked (it has his Japanese name on the back, but of course we don't have booklet scans, so "Norimasa" could be on the inside). For his non-VGM works he's credited pretty uniformly as Norimasa, so barring that being an extensively propagated mistake, it seems like he's gone by both and used Kisho for his VGM works for whatever reason. |

Another album with "山中紀昌" credited, as a Drama performer on the album Can Can Bunny Extra 3
This page credits him "YAMANAKA NORIMASA". EDIT: this website credited 2 artists that are not in the booklet of the 3rd drama.. (and Yamanaka Norimasa was one of them), so he's not on this CD.. sorry for that. I fixed all Can Can bunny albums, and the performers lists should be fine. I can agree that they are the same person. There are a number of composers at that time that would have played with their names, like the American voice actors would for their roles in anime. Also, judging from the sounds of his anime works and game arrangements, the synth quality are the same.

Now that the scans are up we can confirm that Norimasa is there.
