Sigh....2CDs again.

Wanna bet this is just a reprint of the original one? The one that could easily have fit on a single CD if they didn't add the DQIV track? Yeesh...

Guess DQ8 will remain the only mainline DQ I don't have an SS for.

- Removed "(Synthesizer)" and "[ME]" from JP track titles. The "[ME]" isn't on the actual track titles, it's just a heading name for everything there and "Synthesizer" isn't present either, they're noted at the bottom in the format "8,10,21 シンセサイザー".
- Added English tracklist with English titles from Symphonic Suite Dragon Quest VIII (http://vgmdb.net/album/4461). English is from the inserts but we don't have scans for this album. Exceptions noted below.
- Disc 01 M14 -- Found in English on Dragon Quest Swords (http://vgmdb.net/album/4541) as just "Boogie-woogie", literally translated would be "Bar Boogie-woogie" but I think it's fine to use titles from across series in DQ since everything is basically the same.
- Disc 01 M15 -- Found in English on Symphonic Suite Dragon Quest I-IX Scene-Separated (http://vgmdb.net/album/27827) as just "Casino" but this is one of the subtitles for the "In a Town" track from DQIV etc. and is usually left untranslated in the inserts. Would be literally "Fun Casino" and has been translated as such before.
- Disc 01 M18 -- Has an ellipsis ("...") that isn't included in SSDQVIII but it's an easy add.
- Disc 1 M19 -- "それ行けトーポ" is repeated as "それ行けトーポ・それ行けトーポ" and I don't know why but I guess it would just be "Go Topo Go!! - Go Topo Go!!" (from SSDQVIII)
- Disc 1 M21 -- "この想いをハープにのせて (シンセサイザー)" is the same base as M20 ("この想い...") which was in English as "Remembrances..." but doesn't quite fit trying to add the "をハープにのせて". It was translated previously as "Expressing My Thoughts through My Harp" so I'll use that. There could be an argument to change M20 to "My Feelings..." to better align the two tracks but since it's on the previous SSDQVIII as "Remembrances..." I will leave it.
- Disc 2 M05 -- 大聖堂のある街 from SS DQ SS I-X Disc 6.
- Disc 2 M18~M36 -- Manually translated
- Disc 2 M30 -- ワシの歌を聴け has been previously translated as "Listen to My Song" but it's Washi, not watashi so I translated it as "Listen to the Eagle's Song". This probably needs to be corrected on the other 4 or 5 releases it is on.
- Disc 2 M31 -- Previously translated as "Mogura's Recital" but I think it's "Mole" as in that Mole looking character from various DQ games.

I just meant the translator probably took "washi" as the "watashi" used by old people
my guess is eagle too since the track is followed by mogura (another animal)

So...is this a new recording or not? Some of the track lengths are the same as the old one and others aren't.

Seems to me like it's basically the soundtrack used in the 3DS version which is basically a mix of the arrangement source of the game and the original MIDIs that weren't arranged.
