This is listed as "Composer Selected Soundtrack" (as the image suggests) elsewhere on the site. It is indeed going to be a child album of the Japanese print, but this is a duplicate listing.

I don't get what do you mean. Will both US releases (the 4CDs set & the single CD release) will be called "Composer Selected" ? Or is one of them cancelled ?
I thought there were 2 different packages:
4 disc set with Crystal Edition
Single disc with Collector's Edition

I just picked up my Collector's Edition (the $80 one) today and can verify that it does, indeed, have all four disks included.

The packaging disappointment, on the other hand... is another story.

Ah i think i got it, it was a bit confusing...

US only get 1 special edition: "The Collector's Edition", which contains 4 cds.
Europe will get 2 special editions: "The Collector's Edition" with 1 cd & "Crystal Edition" with 4 cds.
Current picture is for Europe, i'll fix that in a moment.

Despite what the discs say in the "US Package" picture, they actually have "FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 Official Soundtrack" printed on them instead, so I changed the official title of this release.

Any reason why my edit was immediately reversed and the title is back to Original Soundtrack? It's definitely Official Soundtrack. Here's a couple pictures of my US Collector's Edition if someone doesn't believe me:

Those are the only two spots on the CE that the soundtrack title is printed.

Must say I'm impressed that such a detailed soundtrack booklet was even included. Composer/arranger breakdown for every track plus all production, performer, musician, soloist, etc. staff credits. Very nice for a US printing.

Whats the deal with track 21? Is it at the end of the game? Or is it just a bonus track? I have not beaten the game yet. I was just curious because I threw in disc 4 today and listened to it. And track 21 is really, really, really....really good.
