Since K-ON!! is the second season of K-ON!, I'll delete this entry and makes it as the release of K-ON!.

Well, I thought we had some opinions like that a second season of anime series would fall under the release and didn't remember anyone objecting, but I don't follow what structure our recent submissions of anime products have adopted, either, so it's nice to know what other people think of (that's why I usually post a discussion first).

If it's split cour I keep it under one entry. If it isn't, I separate the entries.
Split cour meaning that part 1 airs, then it breaks for one season, then part 2 airs. |

my opinion is if the anime has several seasons but just named as season (like fate/zero or phi brain, maybe bakuman too) so that can gather under the same product name
but if the anime has different name for its different seasons, so names in consequences (like k-on! and k-on!! because there is a distinction) |

^ I agree, there's a difference with a reason after all:
Gintama / Gintama' Working!! / Working'!! |

So I might lean away from the notion that a second season or afterward should be a release, if how it's titled can be a judging factor, since it's just up to each companies.
