I was recently ripping and tagging this album and I noticed something very peculiar. Two racks seem to be switched comparing them to their respective track number on the album tracklist.
According to the submitted tracklist on vgmdb they are:
14 Winner Demo
15 Joining In Demo

In the actual cd, Winner Demo is track no. 4 while Joining in Demo is 24, which causes the rest of tracks in that range to be shifted (Thunderous Waves was originally no. 4 and in the cd is 5, and so on...)

Has someone else who owns the album noticed this? Could it be a printing/recording error?

I fixed the track lengths for this album.

Seems like an error from Chudah's Corner website was just copy/pasted here (and maybe on a few other places).

It seems like it's still not fixed, therefore EAC is not able to retrieve the data because of the tracks still being shifted.
What should be done in cases like this? It's kind of bothersome because it forces you to tag the files manually one by one. But since this case is not something simpler such as 2 tracks being swapped and just swap them back on the tracklist (e.g. Devil May Cry), the only solution would be to create another, fixed up tracklist just for EAC to retrieve the trakc data. How does that sound?

I'm not sure I understand the problem. If you just enter the tracktimes in the same order as they appear on the CD when you read it with something like foobar, then it should be calculated accurately by the freedb.

Are you saying that the track times are wrong? If so, that should be corrected.

I don't remember exactly what was the problem but i think that the tracks are actually shuffled a bit on the physical CD.
Chudah's corner actual differences:

Chudah -- the correct track times (in concordance with the tracklist of the back cover)
in other words: the right track times are the way it should be and is a "fixed" tracklist... maybe we should make a real tracklist for the CD

03) Kurito Forever (Terry Bogard) 0:23 -- 2:43
14) Winner Demo 2:11 -- 0:23
15) Joining In Demo 2:55 -- 0:21
16) Duck! Duck! Duck! (Duck King) 2:41 -- 2:11
17) It's Seoul (Kim Kaphwan) 2:01 -- 2:55
19) How Has China Survived 4000 Years? II (Tung Fu Rue) 2:33 -- 2:01
20) Hapushu! Fuuuu (Cheng Sinzan) 2:56 -- 2:41
21) Bulls and Sport (Lawrence Blood) 0:09 -- 2:33
22) Requiem K.626 [Lacrimosa] (Wolfgang Krauser) 1:44 -- 2:56
23) Before Geese Demo 0:21 -- 0:09
24) Soy Sauce on Geese (Geese Howard) 1:40 -- 1:44
25) S-Wind (Staff Roll) 0:13 -- 1:40
26) Continue 0:07 -- 0:13
27) Game Over ? (0:00) -- 0:07

The problem's not the track times but the tracks themselves. Half of the album's tracks are misplaced on the physical disc. Right now the affected part of the tracklist looks like these:

Code:
03 Kurito Forever (Terry Bogard) 2:43
04 Thunderous Waves (Andy Bogard) 1:30
05 A Special Poem Handed Down by Southern Thailand (Joe Higashi) 2:18
06 Always Zooming (Mai Shiranui) 2:37
07 TAKU-HATSU-Rock (Sokaku Mochizuki) 4:05
08 A Taste of Honey (Bob Wilson) 1:19
09 Donchika!! Chi!! Chi!! (Hon Fu) 4:07
10 Blue Mary's BLUES (Blue Mary) 3:49
11 GOLI-Rock (Franco Bash) 3:01
12 C62 -Shirokuni- Ver.2 (Ryuji Yamazaki) 2:43
13 No.3 from Pandora's Box "Determination" (Jin Chonshu & Jin Chonrei) 2:42
14 Winner Demo 0:23
15 Joining In Demo 0:21
16 Duck! Duck! Duck! (Duck King) 2:11
17 It's Seoul (Kim Kaphwan) 2:55
18 London March (Billy Kane) 2:41
19 How Has China Survived 4000 Years? II (Tung Fu Rue) 2:01
20 Hapushu! Fuuuu (Cheng Sinzan) 2:41
21 Bulls and Sport (Lawrence Blood) 2:33
22 REQUIEM K.626[Lacrimosa] (Wolfgang Krauser) 2:56
23 Before Geese Demo 0:09
24 Soy Sauce on Geese (Geese Howard) 1:44
25 S-Wind (Staff Roll) 1:40
26 Continue 0:13
27 Game Over 0:07
28 Terry Bogard
But on the physical disc they're distributed like:

Code:
03 Kurito Forever (Terry Bogard) 2:43
14 Winner Demo 0:23
04 Thunderous Waves (Andy Bogard) 1:30
05 A Special Poem Handed Down by Southern Thailand (Joe Higashi) 2:18
06 Always Zooming (Mai Shiranui) 2:37
07 TAKU-HATSU-Rock (Sokaku Mochizuki) 4:05
08 A Taste of Honey (Bob Wilson) 1:19
09 Donchika!! Chi!! Chi!! (Hon Fu) 4:07
10 Blue Mary's BLUES (Blue Mary) 3:49
11 GOLI-Rock (Franco Bash) 3:01
12 C62 -Shirokuni- Ver.2 (Ryuji Yamazaki) 2:43
13 No.3 from Pandora's Box "Determination" (Jin Chonshu & Jin Chonrei) 2:42
16 Duck! Duck! Duck! (Duck King) 2:11
17 It's Seoul (Kim Kaphwan) 2:55
18 London March (Billy Kane) 2:41
19 How Has China Survived 4000 Years? II (Tung Fu Rue) 2:01
20 Hapushu! Fuuuu (Cheng Sinzan) 2:41
21 Bulls and Sport (Lawrence Blood) 2:33
22 REQUIEM K.626[Lacrimosa] (Wolfgang Krauser) 2:56
23 Before Geese Demo 0:09
24 Soy Sauce on Geese (Geese Howard) 1:44
15 Joining In Demo 0:21
25 S-Wind (Staff Roll) 1:40
26 Continue 0:13
27 Game Over 0:07
Most tracks have a different track number compared to the printed tracklist as a result. So my main concern was what should we do here. Fix the tracklist and explain it on the notes? Put a new fixed tracklist?

EDIT:
I went ahead and submitted the new tracklists.

How do you all feel about having user-fixed tracklists rather than using the notes? For one it helps for freedb. On the other hand it creates a bad precedent. Though for extreme cases like this one it may be acceptable.

I checked the archived Scitron site but makes no mention of the wrong order. The printed tracklist seems very widespread. Is this ordering defect in every copy or there may be corrected cds? (btw, it's amazing I can still read a +13 y.o site, god bless the people at archive.org. It's like vgm archeology).

As an interesting trivia; "TAKU-HATSU-Rock" is the only character theme that was not released on any Arrange albums
