The same version (same catalog number, etc.) is also sold regularly in Europe (or at least Germany). I don't see an option to add that information to the album information field since it requires to choose a single location, though.

In a sense of completeness I'd like to share two "official" tracklists for this. Neither of them is worth adding for quality reasons, imo. The Japanese titles aren't translated but written in Romaji except for "The Cruel Angel's Thesis" and "Soul's Refrain". Those also seem to be the only translations to be considered really "official", since the lyrics of those tracks can be found in the booklet translated "by Dan Kanemitsu", studio khara's very own translator. The rest (mainly the two interviews) seem to be translated by someone with no idea of the subject (Rei is consistently referred to as "Ray" for example).
The CD-Text formatting is very random and it even contains a misspelling ("impacy", track 12). From case back: The Cruel Angel's Thesis FLY ME TO THE MOON (YOKO TAKAHASHI Acid Bossa Version) Soul's Refrain THANATOS -IF I CAN'T BE YOURS- Komm, süsser Tod (M-10 Director's Edit Version) Kyou no Hi wa Sayounara Tsubasa wo Kudasai FLY ME TO THE MOON 2020 Kokoro yo Genshi ni Modore 2020 Mugen Houyou Shiawase wa Tsumi no Nioi Come sweet death, second impact Dilemmatic triangle opera The Image of black me Dilemmatic triangle opera AYANAMI Version From CD-Text: The Cruel Angel's Thesis Fly Me To the Moon (Yoko Takahashi Acid Bossa Version) Soul's Refrain Thanatos -If I Can't Be Yours- KOMM, SUSSER TOD (M-10 Director's Edit Version) Kyou No Hi Wa Sayounara Tsubasa Wo Kudasai Fly Me To the Moon (2020 Version) Kokoro yo Genshi ni Modore 2020 Mugen Houyou Shiawase wa Tsumi no Nioi Come sweet death, second impacy Dilemmatic triangle opera The Image of black me Dilemmatic triangle opera (AYANAMI Version) |

IMO, the translation from the case back is probably worth adding for completeness' sake. The CD-TEXT version can be omitted though since it's just formatting differences plus that typo you pointed out.
As for your previous post about the European version, I don't think we have a standard way to specify multiple regions for releases. I think a simple note in the album info should suffice. Even though it looks like it's technically a different release (my version from Amazon US doesn't have "Made in the EU" on the back) we normally don't make reprint entries for releases with identical labels/barcodes/catalog numbers but different regions. |

If someone could scan and add the Back of the US version that would be fantastic. Just for the sake of complete documentation (US/EU version). Last edited by Maskad; Mar 9, 2021 at 09:26 AM. |
