According to http://rps7575.kt.fc2.com/scitron/Ni...riors_gsm1.htm and several other sources, the music of this album is by OGR, Mar. and SPLATTER A, or by their real names Hisayoshi Ogura, Masahiko Takaki and Shizuo Aizawa.
Furthermore the composer breakdown is different, and there is no arranger named. Where is the info coming from?

Most probably from the booklet. I've uploaded them scans, which also contain performer infos.

Hisayoshi Ogura's Japanese Wikipedia article says Rainbow Islands was actually composed and arranged by Shizuo Aizawa (SPLATTER.A). This may be legit, as Aizawa comments on Rainbow Island in the booklet here.

I'm confused by the credits for Operation Wolf. A few Japanese sites seems to think Shizuo Aizawa made the music for it, while sites like arcade-history claims someone called Hiroshi Tuda did it.
Is Hiroshi Tuda an alias, or did Shizuo Aizawa merely do the sound effects/sound programming, since he's commenting on the game in the booklet?

Looks like this is the first entry into Pony Canyon's / Scitron's G.S.M. series.

Just thought it would be interesting to mention that the acronym stands for GAME SOUND MUSIC as I've only ever seen it written out in the pretty cool logo. The color of the logo changes with each album. The Mega Selection II front scan is probably the best look we'll ever get at it.

Somehow I always mixed these albums up with Scitron's later Game Sound Museum series.
