Default 1986 Game Music - Round Table Interview

I recently translated an old game music interview with Capcom, SNK, and Nichibutsu composers: http://shmuplations.com/gamemusic1986

It's a cool perspective from a fairly early moment in game history. Ayako Mori is especially funny. It was a user from vgmdb who sent me the BEEP! magazine scans, so I figured you'd all like to read it. There's a lot of other game music interviews at the site too: http://shmuplations.com/games , and more to come.

I'll be doing a special thing for the vgmdb community later this Spring too, as my way of saying "thank you" for all the liner notes scans that the community has collectively uploaded over the years. Stay tuned...!

Very interesting, thanks.

Any chance you could add somewhere the original kanji for names?
Makes info-gathering easier :3

thanks! glad you all enjoyed it.

@Datschge, thanks! and if anyone else has interesting interview scans, feel free to send them to me. I will add them to the backlog list here for patrons to vote on: http://shmuplations.com/patreonlist

@Dag, Here is the kanji for Hiroshi Tsuji (辻博史) and Kasatoshi Yoshino (吉野嘉哲). I'm pretty certain on Hiroshi Tsuji since the name "Tsuji" appears in the TANK credits; but then, he isn't the composer, so that probably isn't helpful for you. Kasatoshi Yoshino (who I had previously written incorrectly as Yoshiaki Esuda for some inexplicable reason) is more of a mystery. The games he allegedly composed for don't list his name or any variant reading of those characters, nor does google.co.jp have anything, so that reading is my best guess.

That was a good read. Thanks! Ayako Mori was indeed funny. Seems like she got out of the game shortly after this, and probably for the best judging by her comments. I wonder where she went off to after?
