Trying to change certain album links results in a database error.
Examples links: 1239 (album 6795), 1226 (album 6796)

Thanks for the heads up. The problem was the apostrophe, so I've fixed the code and it should be fine now.

Album 14930 only lists one of the album's two publishers on its page. Album 15039 (which happens to have the same two publishers) displays both correctly, but I assume this is simply because they (or in this case just SYNC.ART'S) haven't been linked to an org. This could, however, just be some sort of editing problem, I can't tell.

Another small thing is how the list of scans is sorted on the album page. Because the list is being sorted alphabetically items that number above 9 (not too common) are sorted improperly (see 14997.)

Linking a publisher overrides the default text field, so both publishers will have to be linked to get them to show up. I'll need to update the interface to allow linking a publisher without an organization entry.

Is there still not any solution at the moment, to add a child album with a different media constitution and keep the parent infos ?

Example a 2 media (discs/vinyls..) version of a previously entered 1 media version album.
Tracklist would be the same, but spread on the 2 media and not only in 1.

I tried to child an album this way, modified the media to add a second disc, changed the tracklist to reflect it (it warned me this action will unlink the tracklist with the parrent one - perfect! -)

The matter with that action, is all other infos from the parrent did not follow (composers...etc..) so they were all empty.
Finally i could not re-modify them seems like they are still attached to the parent (but will not show in this new child).. ?

The information should have followed the moment you added a child album. Were the composers unlinked AFTER you added the new tracklist?

Edit: I can't troubleshoot things if you remove the evidence...

Yes, all the parrent infos (composers.. etc..) were suddenly unlinked/erased at the moment i added the new tracklist.

And since i could not re-add it it was empty with nothing else to do for me.

(if you need to see it by yourself, just take any album and try it -you'll delete it after-), maybe it was me... or maybe not

Yeah, it was the code.

Fixed two horrible, horrible bugs. Now editing a reprint will not wipe out the classification, artist and game fields.

The bad thing is that it's been there for quite a while, so I'll have to to re-synchronize the reprints in the database with their parents.

I've just noticed the "related albums" and "recent works" aren't color coded, is this by design or overlooked?

Another minor thing, in the quicksearch you can use "ys" but not "Ys" or "YS".

Ok, a bit hard to explain well but i'll try.

To be honest i did not pay attention before if it always did this but i actually found this verry annoying:


When you do an advanced search & wish to sort the results differently than "Album Title"... and got more than 25 results (more than 1 page of results)..

The sorting will work only on the first page.
If you go to page 2, it will automatically resort results on "Album Titles" order..

(or course, you can re-click the sorting you want each time at the top of the page.. but i don't remember i did this previously)

Is there a way to keep the same sorting while browsing multiple page?

(once again, it seems to do that only when you specify a different sorting than "album title" on an advanced search)

If you notice that the whole website seems to have faster loading times now, it's because I finally configured caching headers on static files (images, css, javascript).

Tinkered around with the covers sidebox a bit, it's now tabbed and switching between list/gallery mode should work properly. However the gallery thumbnails seem to have tragically lost their margins, so I'll have modify the layout some more.

Each time i enter a new album i get a white page with this warning:

"Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at [path]/functions_affiliate.php:26) in [path]/albums-submit.php on line 285"
The album is still valided.

Fixed a bug in the display order for the freedb read stats under page traffic on the album page.

Artist search under advanced search seems to be suffering some issues. Certain search terms will yield no results ('betwixt & between' for instance, just 'betwixt' gives a result however), there's an empty set of parenthesis after every search result, and search terms aren't displayed. I'm guessing this is a case of other things getting changed and it not being updated in turn? It's not particularly an issue to begin with since there's no reason not to just quick search for artists now. Also, on another search related note, quick searching for aliases that don't have their own entry (ie they're just assigned on an album) return no results.

Yeah, the artist search isn't 100% robust yet. I haven't figured out why it doesn't find that album ... maybe the & is a special character.

The empty set of parenthesis is where the Japanese name goes, but if there isn't one, then it's blank.

The alias issue is a big one. I'll have to work on figuring out how to get those to show up with the artists even though they show up in another table.

Regarding Private Messages if you use the option: "Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up"

Tonight i got lazy and i clicked to have my new message on a new window.. (normally i use to read PM with the control pannel so i never noticed that bug before)
And it redirected me on the wrong adress:

Possible Linking Bug on this album

adding this URL from the Nitro+ Direct shop goes fine...
