Default The Legacy Music Hour Podcast

Hi guys, my friend and I started a podcast about video game music from the 8-bit and 16-bit era called "The Legacy Music Hour." Each show, we pick a topic to explore (e.g. Racing Games, Experimental Music, etc.) or focus on a particular composer or company (e.g. Junko Tamiya, Square, etc.), and we basically just take turns sharing our favorite songs within that topic for about an hour, explaining what we like about our selections, and so on. It's like show-and-tell for video game music of the late 80s/early 90s. Anyway, if you're interested, you can listen and subscribe to our podcast on iTunes:

http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/t...ur/id405561057

And/or you can check out our website, which has all our track listings and other stuff:

www.legacymusichour.com

Thanks!

Default Legacy Music Dance Party

Here's a video from the Legacy Music Hour. It's a dance party show like American Bandstand but with video game music. And yes, the crowd in this video really is actually dancing to the music in the video:

The interview is also posted there in text form if you don't want to listen to the episode, which is a little hard to understand sometimes.

pretty awesome that a composer was in studio for the episode. although I thought more variety could have been on the setlist (no Boogerman??)

also, Furniss is one of the rare western composers that could compete with the Japanese, IMO.
