So is this like new a record for Aniplex with their extremely late OST releases? I mean 17 motherfucking damn years seems like it would be impossible to beat honestly.

It's about god damn time but hope its worth it since quite alot of new BGM were used through out those years and they better be added and not redo-overs of the previous scores.

Shippuden adaptation started "only" in 2007, it's not that long. You've likely mixed it with the manga date. Don't jinx this so it gets delayed until 2024!!!

Yes, it's about fucking time for a new OST (and that comes from a guy who never watched a single Naruto episode in his life, I'm in just for the music).

P.S. I do know how it is to wait... too bloody long. Waiting for Shenmue 3 since 2001. Prayers were answered though. /off-topic end

I'm same i hardly watch a series only in it for music depending on composer, oh another Shenmue fan i agree it took me ages to finish the second one but when i did i so wanted to play the sequel i felt it left it on cliff hanger but no news and when they did there was no progress only talks here and there, but still waiting for a year now until released 2017 i can't wait.

but maybe SVWC-70175/6 will be the last naruto the best

Yeah that was my bad on that typo. Still if you translate that into how long it felt then I'd say 17 is still accurate :P.

The price is what they usually charge for 1 CD, and it's announced as that. Can still change before the release, but it's unlikely.

EDIT: also, SVWC-70178 is taken (三羽烏漢唄 ~GRANBLUE FANTASY~)

Only 1 CD by the number of disks mention but like the last two soundtracks they had 28 tracks each i wouldn't be surpised if it's the same number of tracks with this one.

Some shops are now saying 25 tracks, 65 minutes. Tracklist should be popping up soon.

Will have to keep an eye on it. In the past, shops have listed detailed composer/arranger info for Naruto CDs early on (later being changed to the usual Takanashi/yaiba credit).

Can any mod delete the old tracklists? It's missing one track and the ordering is slightly different. I have the updated lists ready.

Done.

It seems like Aniplex isn't releasing tracklists early any more. This one only became available this week.

I notice the same thing with Haifuri and Kiznaiver soundtracks. Just when you think Aniplex can't get worse, they do.

Actually, they haven't even listed this soundtrack, while the BORUTO DVD/BluRay and the NARUTO THE BEST album are listed.

Since everything else on the track list has been "Americanized", shouldn't the track Shurado be translated to "Asura Path"?

It isn't actually referring to the Asura Path/Demon Realm.

I added my own translation. With the exception of 4-5 tracks, the rest are quite obvious. M-15 and M-22 are references from the manga, while M-09, M-13 and M-14 — I translated them to sound more, er, natural.

I left the old list intact, so if you think that's better, I'm fine with it – you can delete mine.

P.S. For track M-15 ["Zutto Miteta"] — credits to Yagami1211 and Narutofreak1412 from NarutoForums for pointing out that it was a reference to a particular manga panel. The translation "Always Watching" was suggested by Yagami. The rest of tracks are my own translations (the non-obvious ones).

Okay, so I checked the JASRAC DB, Track #23 has two entries with different romanization: Kaze to Honoo no Rondo, and Kaze to Honoo no Enbukyoku. The Japanese corresponds to the second one, but the retailers are going along with the former.

Should we change it?

The first reading on JASRAC (the one marked as 正題) is the correct one, if there are more they are usually just included for search purposes.

Contrary to a lot of expectations at the time of release, this entry was utterly disappointing.
And it doesn't seem like they intend to go back on this mistake anytime soon. Why couldn't this have been handled by a better studio to begin with? So many good tracks that are still unreleased even while they were used frequently.
