I'm just curious but does the Konami Battle Tracks (Dracula I, II, Snatcher, Shooting I, II, etc.) actually were released with a slipcase for the first print?
Just found out that at last shooting battle I and Dracula I are currently online available with slipcases. Maybe we'll should add this info for hardcore collectors who're looking for a perfect edition of the CDs. |

EDIT: I've added the performers of the new recordings, but perhaps the performers of previous albums could be added in the future. Last edited by Revoc; May 3, 2011 at 07:42 AM. |

Just want to warm this up because I don't think Dracula Battle had a slipcase. Where's the proof? Was there any other album besides Shooting Battle I that had one? Don't think so.

Have never seen it on anything else than the first SHOOTING BATTLE album.
This copy was even sealed, with a round sticker that's usually a replacement for spinecards. So I wonder if the actual album inside has a spinecard and is sealed as usual with a tearstrip seal. |

My current copy has both the slipcase and the spinecard. Also the sticker is adhered directly to the box, though that's something the original owner might have done after unwrapping it.
And yes, in my years of collecting both online and in brick-and-mortar shops, I've never come across any Konami Battle album with a slipcase other than Shooting Battle 1. If they exist for any others, they must be incredibly rare Last edited by Aifread; Oct 19, 2019 at 06:07 PM. |

I've seen copies where the slipcase has no round sticker, so it's possible it was actually on the shrinkwrap (hard to tell from my crappy internet photos).
The missing spinecard is a thing at least on KICA-1001 -- all the copies with cardboard box that I've seen had no spinecard, and those that had, didn't have a cardboard box. Could be a coincidence but I doubt it. |

Well, the thing is, for KICA-1010, I've NEVER seen a spinecard (I'm still on the lookout), so I think it was only ever released with the cardboard box. Unlike KICA-1001 which was re-released without it.

I looked a bit harder,
this photo confirms the round sticker was on the shrinkwrap. the wrinkles on the right disappear under it. i can now sleep properly |
