Default ZMCP-7060: TV ANIME POCKET MONSTERS ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK BEST 1997-2010 2

Is that the real names for the tracks or just temporary? And I assume it's all of the music that Shinji 'wrote' for the series, am I correct?

I hope this album completes all the missing tracks from Season 1.

The 1998 "Anime Sound Collection" (TGCS-489) only had 42 tracks. "OST Best 1" (ZMCP-5452) already have 29 tracks... and since this album seams to have 65 tracks that would give us a total of 94 tracks for Season 1 OST.

assuming it's a best album, only "best" tracks must be there (i.e. not all tracks)
and on another note, I highly doubt the 1st season lasted from 1997 to 2010

Yes, you're probably right (although I was only counting the 1997-1998 tracks).

Actually the first album was just every single song from the anime based on the original game version. This album just haves every single song that Shinji himself wrote. Altogether both albums have every single background piece that was in the anime until 2010.

I can't wait for this album.

Those are great news! I never cared much for the songs, I only liked the orchestral pieces, specially the ones from Season1. Thank you.

Kewl, I liked all pieces though. The album says best because it's probably the best album to have these tracks.

It's nice to finally have all the themes from the first pokemon sound collection without the annoying pokedex explanations.

It doesn't have any of the dub only tracks on the album, as well as none of the music in any of the movies, too, if that's what you mean?

nope, from the anime japanese music it's actually missing some notable tracks. I'll have to find some youtube links for evidence.

Both albums are missing:
(1997-1998-M33B)
(1997-1998-M65B)
(1997-1998-M69A)
(1997-1998-M76B)
(1999-2001-M30)

Strange how they missed these... oh well. I kinda know what they are.

That's interesting. Hopefully they'll be making another volume, but I doubt they will be. Maybe if we're lucky we'll get one with all the Black and White anime music on it sometime.

So, which songs are these, anyway? I'm dying of curiosity.

I might have two possibilities.

They might have run out of space on the CD

or

They don't want to reuse music that was on previous OSTs. Like Guitarist500's find. They must have used it too many times.

Like I said, these are just thoughts.

There will, the next one will probably include both the video game music arrangement and the originals from best wishes. It might actually include the rest from this album as bonus tracks but it seems a bit unlikely.

We can always hope. I'll be looking forward to it no matter what, though.

I have found (1997-1998-M69A) it is from the 'sound anime collection' titled:
"16. team rocket's 7th change"
all it is that it's way faster than M69B.
