Done. The SMT1 track that "Traffic" is based on seems to have a few different translations across different album info on this site, but I went with a fairly literal "Arcade Town."

3.19 Kiyoharu is Terminal?

Nope, that's Law from SMT1. 1.26 Terminal is Terminal from SMT1. Added a lot more just now and I've accounted for all the "original composer" credits. There might still be some I missed that aren't credited though. Also I'm tempted to remove the claim that 2.06 is based on that SMT2 track. They're definitely similar and I wouldn't be surprised if there was some direct influence/inspiration considering how much retro SMT flavor is in this score, but I don't think it's the same tune.

I agree with you, doesn't sound like the same tune. Possibly based on, but not probably. I've added alternate track names in the notes but primarily used the ones that are on the original soundtrack album track lists (SMT1, SMT2, SMT1&2, SMT3). Great finds BTW, thank you! I suspect you found these by the composer/arranger credits. Last edited by DanteLectro; Feb 10, 2018 at 12:00 AM. |

Yes that's it, Konishi mentions in the liner notes that he snuck in a phrase from "3D: Virtual Battler" from SMT2. It happens specifically in the second half of the song (0:54-1:47); that mallety synth is playing the original bassline. Starts off once every four measures and then switches to every measure at 1:20.

Oh damn I didn't catch that. Just one more reason this soundtrack rules. I'm actually surprised it doesn't have a higher rating on here because imo it's easily on-par with the first three.

Does anyone know what equipment was used for this? In particular, what synths?

There's a 0:13 sec long track at the end of CD4. It's a secret track. Let's just call it "[secret track]". In my database, it's credited as Ryota Kozuka as the arranger (no composer), but there's no way to know for sure.
It's already been noticed two times on page 1, but it still hasn't been added to the tracklist... |

Apple Music has the secret track titled as "起動音" so should that be added to JP tracklist (and I think it can be translated as Startup Sound)

Has this soundtrack been on Apple Music for a while, or did it just get added recently?
