Looks like that this is an Original, even when the Release-Date sounds fishy. Maybe someone is interested in it?

I'm not sure just what that is. The UPC doesn't match up with the one on the original Japanese obi, but when I search on it, I do find a hit that links it to the US Tokyopop release. However, the tracklist given in the auction matches the Japanese version, not the US version (though it's missing one track, which I'd attribute to a copy/paste error.)

Also, I've never heard of the distributor: Phantom Import Distribution.

It would be interesting for someone to pick this up just to see if it's a real version that we don't have in the dB.

Not unless you can find an original copy that isn't being hoarded.

Can you at least secure the credits for the Chao tracks?

Are the music composers separately created like the notes section shows, or are they credited track-or-track like in the Sonic Adventure OST and just collected together at the end?

This is essential for the Chao tracks because the order Fumie, Kenichi, and Tomoya are listed determines which individual tracks they did.

For example, if Fumie is listed first for the Garden set, then it implies more composition-based crediting. But if Kenichi or Tomoya is listed first, then it's certainly more significant.

Hi. I grabbed an image of the album cover and photoshopped it a bit. It might not look good at the current resolution, but if you resize it to something smaller it'll look much sharper and noise-less than the one floating around.

For anybody that feels the urge to tag everything .

I'm looking for this album, anyone here willing to sell? Don't say Amazon as they sell fakes. Trust me I've looked everywhere...

It's such a rare album and many people have sentimental ties to it that those who do have it probably won't sell it. I got mine by sheer luck, I had to dig through like ten people here on VGMdb who told me no. If you do find a legitimate one for sale, expect ridiculous prices, especially if it's new.

I'm of the same mind as you, but again, due to the rarity of the item and a decent amount of collectors looking for new copies of the album you're going to run into some ridiculous prices. It all depends on if it's in your budget and if you think having a physical copy of this album is worth it.

Also, no matter where you buy it from, always make sure you have some sort of insurance just in case it does actually turn out to be a bootleg. Most places like Amazon and eBay automatically offer such protections, as does Paypal if you pay for something through it. Selling bootlegged music is illegal, doubly so if the seller tries to pass it off as the genuine article.

Of course it is worth. I was one of the luckiest people ever who had the chance to buy it for €50 from a online store.

I think the best chances are on YJA.

Nice. I can't remember what mine cost, but it didn't come with the manual. I was sad.

Neo_Chip, are you planing to upload the rest of the poster ?
I can do some montage so we get it in 1 or 2 pictures only.
It could do something like this (incomplete for now):

I just got this off YJA (25,000 Yen, ow). The feel of the fold-out posters / liners seems kinda off to me, in that they don't feel like booklets that are traditionally made for CDs - it seems thicker, and almost more like the result of something I'd print off at home. Everything else seems to indicate that I got a genuine copy though (including the scans currently on the site), so it's probably like that on all other legit copies and I'm probably getting worried over nothing. But here's pictures of what I got:

They probably just made the posters thicker because they're meant to be posters. Something they did back then that they don't do anymore. I'm pretty positive yours is genuine.
